re: Longest most expensive MRS degree ever?
Posted by thesoccerfanjax on 12/30/19 at 7:08 pm to Benne Wafer
You do realize how rare it is for men to even get paternity leave? That’s my point. Should they get a year? Are your OK with picking up the slack?

Should fathers get one year of paternity leave as well?

This actually becoming a problem in the medical field. These people are taking up spots in residencies, fellowships, etc.

The amount of young(ish) people with no high school diploma/no ged and no drivers license is shocking. How could they ever hope to land a decent job?

My suggestion: Get a new wife or possibly a husband depending on which state you live in.

If just being outside in summer causes you to sweat that profusely you should see a doctor.

It’s colder than average here - around 62.
I guess that’s climate change instead of global warming.

50 is cold.
Moreover, Christmas happens in middle of summer for the Southern Hemisphere and for a lot of the northern hemisphere it rarely gets cold so who decided Christmas was supposed to be cold and snowy?

That’s all true and yet it still seems so depressing and run down. The weather is awful.

You don’t know Jacksonville. Most people are from here. At least compared to places like Charlotte and Nashville. Jags are huge here. Elsewhere, not really.
Jags are not in one of those situations where the stadium is filled with opposing fans.

70 is perfect for a winter high temp. Maybe 75 would be better.

No there’s a lot. I live here. The jags are a big deal in Jax and it’s a big city where a majority of residents grew up here. Elsewhere, not really.
Teams up north have bigger more rabid fan bases for pro sports. It’s always been that way. Maybe the weather?

There are a lot of Jags fans. Most of them just have a connection to the city. Ie. they live near by.
You see tons of packers fans but most of them have no connection. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

The 5.3 isn’t really the small engine in this case. The 6.2 is the biggerer engine. Pretty sure you can get a 2.7 turbo 4 banger or a 4.6 V6 on lower tier models.
The 2500 gassers come with a 6.0.

I don’t disagree but then why are the tow and payload being touted as its selling points. They aren’t exactly positioning it as a luxury truck but I doubt it has an interior yet.

People keep saying things like this and I don’t get it. Do you people think only fat people workout to lose weight? How do you think fit people stay fit?
Edit: Peleton is also using aspirational type marketing with the luxurious homes, fit people, etc. They want women to want to be the woman in the commercial. If she was fat, that wouldn’t be the case.

At 33 mine is faster now than when I was in college.
I also don’t eat fast food everyday or drink every night, and I work out way more.
I’m at that age where I see people I knew in college that were in shape and now they’re straight up fat.

The culture of Louisiana is based on a melting pot of races and ethnicities moreso than probably any other state, so this melt is a bit strange.
Take Ed Orgeron. Is he white? “Cajun”? Is Cajun “white”?

Are you under the impression that what you see on TV is generally representative of real life?
The agenda is they can market to more demographics the more ethnicities they have in a commercial. Is that something sinister to you?

Maybe I’m thinking of the type that cannot be bent due to the shape and construction. You don’t see those much anymore.
Not like a 59/50 that can be relatively flat or very bent.
