re: Want to start eliminating squirrels at my house (in a neighborhood) - recommendations? - lnomm34
Trap them. Mix peanut butter with sunflower seeds. Then pop them. That way you're not inadvertently shooting towards homes or people. I've eradicated the 10 acres or so that I have mostly cleared for my homesite of all squirrels. Those bastards caused me over $5k in vehicle damage a few...

re: Want to start eliminating squirrels at my house (in a neighborhood) - recommendations? - lnomm34
why again are you trying to kill an animal that is goign to be impossible for you to get rid of in a neighborhood?
One (more?) of those rodents got into my attic and chewed on my electrical wiring - where that happened was right by my panel and all of my home run wiring. I f...

Want to start eliminating squirrels at my house (in a neighborhood) - recommendations? - lnomm34
As the title reads - I'm looking for recommendations for best way to start mass-elimination of squirrels around my house. I live in a neighborhood so reasonable discretion is key. I've seen recommendations for PCP air rifles, but I'm looking for alternatives. Downsides of the PCP air rifles s...

re: Under cabinet lighting - lnomm34
I installed these type ([link=(https://www.homedepot.com/p/Enbrighten-Hardwired-18-in-LED-White-Under-Cabinet-Light-26764/206496239)]LINK[/link]) in 2018 when I remodeled my kitchen. Have a switch next to my cooktop on the backsplash and use the undercabinet lights all the time. When the kitch...

re: Can we get the “back to top” button again on new mobile layout? Or a “return to board”? - lnomm34
I’m realizing now that just tapping at the top of the browser window does basically the same thing. It’s not nearly as ergonomic as the previous button, which didn’t require me to move my phone around in my hand, but it’s better than nothing. :dunno: I used to use it all the time to get back to t...

re: Can we get the “back to top” button again on new mobile layout? Or a “return to board”? - lnomm34
I’m on iPhone on Safari using the mobile site. We used to have a “top” (or something like that) button at the bottom of each post in the thread, didn’t we?! I’m not crazy am I? It was super useful. If you click the last post on thread, and it brings you into the last page but way at the bot...

Can we get the “back to top” button again on new mobile layout? Or a “return to board”? - lnomm34
We used to have a “back to top” (something like that) button under each post on mobile. Made it nice to click, and jump to the top and then click the main board link to return to the main forum. With new layout, you have to scroll all the way up or down to get to the link to the main forum you’r...

re: Mark Cuban's CostPlus Drug Company - lnomm34
I have no idea how any of the pharmaceutical world works. My doctor prescribed me some medication he knew that my insurance didn’t cover. He told me to go to Wal-Mart pharmacy and tell them to use GoodRX (I don’t even know what it is) to discount the cost. First time I filled the prescription, t...

re: Insurance Expense - lnomm34
It is sickening adding up all the insurance costs I pay. Roughly $15k in insurance costs. And we have it “good”. For medical, I do a HDHP for myself through work. My wife has herself and the kids on her plan. We don’t have any kids of driving age yet so our premiums aren’t arse-rapingly high....

re: Squirrel trying to invade my house - lnomm34
Someone tell me if my line of thinking is correct. Also, once they move out this year, I am for sure getting the 3 or 4 soffit points they are using for access sealed up.
I’m currently working on a major rewire of my house right now due to squirrel damaging wiring in my attic.
