re: Painting doors - lnomm34
Take them outside or in a shop, and line them up next to each other
This. That’s how I painted all the doors in my house. Like 25 or 30 of those frickers. Solid core wood doors. Don’t use latex paint. It sticks. Picture of how I painted doors for my kitchen and laundry r...

re: Best way to remove old wallpaper? - lnomm34
Steamer. I removed thousands of square feet of the shite. A steamer is the only tool that worked. You also need the willingness/knowledge to float drywall after you inevitably frick up the drywall.
Single phased the unit? What the hell does that mean? The unit is already a single phase unit if residential ! Are you suggesting he has a 3 phase residential unit? Geezze!
I’m not the OP, but one of my units is three phase. I found that out when it went out and I called A/C repair...
How numb is his gooch after that?
Probably pretty frickin' numb. But being numb is preferable to the condition of Tony Martin's gooch after he put sandpaper on his addle to prevent sliding during the 2015 UCI World Time Trial Championships. [img]http://www.stickybottle.com/w...

440W for an hour is just incomprehensible to me. My best 40K TT was 56:00 at 292W. And I was absolutely toast when I crossed the line. I know it’s stupid to even compare, but it’s just so difficult to imagine 150W more being humanly possible. I’d have to go back and look at my old power files, b...

re: Cycling World Record: Victor Campenaerts' World Hour Record - 55.089 km (34.231 mi) - lnomm34
He went 34 mind-numbing, hard-as-frick, miles. In an hour. To do so, he had to put out something like 450 Watts. At altitude. On a fixed gear bike. For a solid hour. Round and round a track. Slight variations in speed every damn turn killing his legs. Without cracking mentally or physically for a se...

Cycling World Record: Victor Campenaerts' World Hour Record - 55.089 km (34.231 mi) - lnomm34
I know this probably won't garner much discussion here, but a new cycling world record was set today at the Aguascalientes indoor velodrome in Mexico. Victor Campenaerts beat Bradley Wiggins' Hour Record mark of 54.526 km (33.881 miles), setting the new record at 55.089 km (34.231 miles). This ...
