re: Anyone else find emotions are multiplied during the night? - Chuker
I get it too. Early morning is the worst time. Barely awake I lay there and think about all the shite that is wrong with my life. After I get up and start the day I look back and think how over exaggerated I was perceiving those problems. Like another poster I've learned to just tell myself its sleep...

re: What Are Your Experiences With Home Inspectors? - Chuker
If you're a buyer, they're nice. If you're a seller, they're tough to handle.
they suck for buyers as well. They like to pad their notes with bull shite that doesn't matter but ignore or just don't know where the serious stuff is. Inspectors get referrals from real estate ag...

re: Pond Expansion Update: Day 8 - Chuker
bream and bass are absolutely thriving, even in the summer heat.
My BiL has a "duck" pond that is about 1/3 acre and average depth of like 18". A lot of places its a foot and the very deepest is 3'...counting the mud you sink into. Pond was never meant for fish but was stocke...

re: Thinking about buying a house on ~4 acres - Chuker
Let most of it go native. Plant some native trees and reduce the amount of area you are actually maintaining
This. Blows me away when people clear up acres of land just so they can mow it. Let property grow back up with proper trees and keep a small but well maintained yard. Mowi...

re: Heat pump vs furnace in NOLA - Chuker
It shouldn't take you much research to find that nat gas is cheap (for now) and would easily be your best option. If you were choosing between heat pump and propane then I'd go heat pump but the decision is much closer. Natural gas is cheap as shite. Use it....

re: Chelsea Clinton: ‘Roe’ Helped Add ‘Three and a Half Trillion Dollars to Our Economy’ - Chuker
Ben Carson grew up in the projects to a single mom and grew up to become a brain surgeon. Why should you decide if an unborn child is worthy to live or die?
Yes, 1 out of 1000 kids makes it out of the projects. The other 999 are fricked. Sorry you are with OK with 999 being in mi...

re: Garage/workshop cooling ideas - Chuker
those portable units
If you're talking about the kind that has the hose vent you stick out a window and the unit stay inside, those things are straight garbage. All the air they discharge out the vent hose must be replaced by air somewhere. That means either outside air or worse ...

re: Chelsea Clinton: ‘Roe’ Helped Add ‘Three and a Half Trillion Dollars to Our Economy’ - Chuker
I'm sure the unborn child wouldn't share your opinion.
I would't be to sure about that. Single mom on drugs who tries to hook up with any man at the slightest chance he will support her and her babies. Living in some shite apartment in the hood. Lowest peg on the socioeconomi...
What does this guy do now? Are his job prospects at area hospitals totally gone?
I was just about to ask the same question. I think he's fuuuuucked. He's probably a respiratory therapist or some such shite. Not a bad gig and took a few years college to get there. What hospita...

re: Have a few different mole mounds in the backyard - Chuker
I've extensively looked into what it takes to get rid of moles. The TLDR version is its very difficult and the most effective way is mechanical traps. Problem is there is so much anecdotal evidence with different techniques. i.e your mom used juicy fruit and a few weeks later the moles appeared gon...
2 screws is plenty frankly, one in top board and one in bottom
I don't think I've ever seen a fence with just 2 fasteners per picket. I can't imagine it would end well though. Pine pickets warp enough with 6 fasteners. Maybe you're joking IDK....
