Sounds like Austin was an a-hole who potentially deserved to get his arse kicked. However, he did not deserve to get murdered.
re: Would a JD5 apology to LSU fix this?

I still hope he does well in the NFL. I don't hate him or anything.
But his name won't come up when I think of Tiger greats. As far as I'm concerned, he graduated from Arizona State.

You couldn't wait more than 1 post to make this thread political?
Movie board is a tough crowd. That trailer looks great to me. I'm excited.
I get it, Jayden is one of the best players we've been fortunate to have. But at the same time, I don't really get the point of retiring numbers in college. Theres simply wayyyy too many players that will play. It's not like the professionals, where you retire a guy who played 10+ years for the organization. We're talking about someone who played only 2 years. It doesn't make sense.

Dude had his faults, but there were few players in NBA history who was more exciting to watch play than Russel Westbrook at his best.

That's actually really gross. Middle school is straight up pedophile stuff
I think we called it Bull in the Ring, or something like that. But basically the premise is that there's 1 person in the middle. Then there's like 15 people standing in a circle surrounding you. One at a time, these guys run full speed at you trying to knock your head off.
I'm pretty sure I got about 10 concussions from that one drill alone.
The other one, was a team punishment because a single teammate got into a fight at school. But basically we had to do bear crawls, down and back the length of the football field=1. We had 4 of those.
Have you ever thrown up, and then fell face first into said throw up because you were too weak to move your body? Yea.

I'm of the opinion that the bad PR from seats like this existing are not worth the pittance of money those seats might bring in.
The extremely compromised view seats just shouldn't exist. Just rip them out, the supposed 50 seats isn't worth all the negative attention
How much negative attention is it really? It's only because it's the off-season. Nobody will be talking about this 2 months from now.
Personally, I don't think any of the seats are all that bad. Depending on the price, I wouldnt mind sitting there to watch the game.
I don't think the show was terrible, per se. But it was very forgettable. It felt like the writers had no direction of what they wanted the show to be about other than She Hulk having the ability to break the 4th wall.
The idea that the guy had in the tweet definitely sounds like it would have been more entertaining than what we got overall.

What is the point of this besides having a desire to humiliate women? Let men compete against men. Women compete against women.

No, but if you're 97% evil, you're pretty doggone close and no one will care about that 3%.
The world can be a really weird place. In what context does it ever make sense to celebrate the beginning of war.
The movie was great. Probably one of my favorite Spiderman films almost instantly.
I guess we're going to go to go with the logic that mutants have been here forever, but they are just now being brought to the forefront. I know Kamala and Namor were revealed to be a mutant. It will be interesting to see who is Professor X and Magneto in this universe, and where the hell have they been the past 20 years.
Department of Damage Control is definitely going to be leading the anti-mutant propaganda. With Jean putting a hex over half of New York City, their job will be pretty easy.
For a bit there, I thought we were getting a trailer fake-out and the only Hulk we were getting was Professor Hulk. I'm so glad we got to see the real Hulk in action for the first time in so long. I hope he never allows himself to be suppressed by Banner again.
It was probably purposeful, but I definitely got some Gwen Stacy vibes when Peter saved MJ. Although I knew she wasn't going to die.

For a second, I thought the little kid at the end was Miles Morales. Than I was like nah.
The entire movie I was thinking that Hispanic cop lady that Peter had been talking to would turn out to be Miles' mom. Then they showed her kids at the end, nope.
This movie is going to crush it at the box office. At my local theater all the shows are sold out tonight until 10.
re: Do the posters here that gobbler up Fauci feel stupid now?

Was there some type of news regarding Fauci. Or is everyone just reminiscing on 2020 again?

Nobody said it's impossible, but we're 3.5 weeks in & no public info to suggest anything other than accidental drowning. Meanwhile, you're still here burying the lede & playing nonsensical what if games.
Yes. I already said I think it's an accidental drowning. I'm just waiting for the investigation to officially be concluded so I can say with 100% certainty.

None of your scenarios are murder, or even a crime beyond drug use.
If you are paying attention. Not once have I claimed that I believe Nolan was murdered.

There is literally no reason we should even know about this beyond the fake racial angle.
I agree. It's unfortunately the world we live in. I would wish people cared as much about this whole thing if it was all white people, or all black people. But that's not the case.
quote:
The whole thing about drowning is that it usually happens alone or someone would try to save them.
I don't doubt this at all. Its probably the most likely scenario that happened here.
quote:
If they were all doing the same cocaine then it would affect them all so that theory is ridiculous. Rough housing in the water and then watching a guy drown is some seriously diabolical shite to make up.
Do I believe those scenarios are all equally likely? No. Are those scenarios completely impossible to have happened? Also no.
quote:
He drowned. We know this.
The story is not that a guy drowned in the ocean - the story is that black social media conspiracies have propelled this to a national news story even though there is absolutely no forensic evidence or witness testimony that points at a crime being committed. Just black people making shite up and a society that placates them under any circumstance.
That's the story. It's not some type of whodunit. I don't know how you are so dense that you don't get that.
Because we don't know the details of the drowning. Was it an accidental drowning and no one saw him? Was he rough-housing in the water with someone else and drowned? Did he take a bad batch of cocaine and pass out in the water. Did someone actually see him drown, but they never came forward because they were afraid that they could somehow be liable in some way?
Are all of these scenarios likely? No. But in any case, it's investigators job to figure out what happened, when it happened, why it happened, etc to the best of their ability. They won't just say, "he drowned, case closed. No further investigation is needed".
quote:
Do you honestly believe that if the investigators did not know how or why he died they would have stopped the investigation and turned it over to the DA to then turn over to a grand jury?
Perhaps you know more than me. But where did you see that the police have already concluded their investigation and turned everything in to the DA already?
