there may be small gaps but even if true, it's not going to reflect the massive gaps we see in reality
but how are kids who are socialized to loathe rational (book) intelligence and who never train various rhetoric and verbal intelligence they may have going to perform on an IQ test? they're not going to do well. hell they may not even try (seeing it as another bullshite part of an educational process they value slightly above negative)

So, a black kid can score 12 points lower on his ACT and have a lower GPA but have a higher chance of acceptance than a white or Asian? And blacks still can't get in? Jesus. Our country is fricking pathetic. We don't have objectivity anymore.

I guess it would be too much to ask for an apples to apples comparison as to how many whites from single parent homes make it to medical school, right?
Or East Asians, folks from the Subcontinent, etc.?
We focus on the obvious, easy-to-lazy-eyes to observe characteristic (skin color/racial background), so that we can immediately jump to the desired conclusion (racism) - instead of focusing on the fundamental problems of the underachieving group or, conversely, the strengths of the overachieving group.
I can say this definitively - college admissions boards, particularly at public universities MOVE HEAVEN AND EARTH to find qualified black graduate students. They do not do so for white or Asian candidates, at least with any sort of demographic focus.

It is completely ignorant to try to solve any education issues in one generation, stupid. The question is not how do we get these kids from the ghetto's and lowest income into Med school.
The question is, how do we get these kids with parents that are in and out of jobs, on food stamps, and welfare into a 40 hour a week skilled labor job? Then when we can stop the 3rd generation from living in a trailer park or ghetto, you can start talking about maybe college. Then the next generation can talk about being a Doctor.
The problem you have is parents that first off don't care about working and secondly don't have the skills to hold a 40 hour a week skilled labor job such as being a mechanic, a plumber, an electrician, etc. We are too focused on putting low income into Grad school and not focused at all to put low income into graduating from Vocational school to make 40k a year.

It is only okay to say something if blacks are superior.
We can say blacks are better genetically as a whole when it comes to athletics. But to say they aren't as gifted genetically when it comes to intelligence is a no no.
