No matter what my other opinions are in this thread, that chart and the line of thinking associated with it is scary. I hope no one confuses anything I've said with supporting that shite.

While I am at...does the term African American refer to actual African Americans? I work with a few Nigerians and they are smarter than me and work harder...are people using the term African American to refer to American born? I think those are two different races...

Which school? Because there are companies falling over themselves to lend for med school. If you're talking undergrad, there are all sorts of underprivileged loans and scholarships.

Not interesting at all I can assume as certain races have been getting candy assed to meet diversity quotas in professional schools for 30+ years.

I'd like to see the actual numbers behind those percentages. I bet the pool of white applicants is 10x that of blacks.

Last data from AAMC has it at ~25k whites vs ~4k blacks

Exactly this, without knowing the total number of applicants in each category the chart doesn't mean much.
