My favorite at the price point is Levis 1947 501 selvedge when they are on sale. They aren't slim fit though. but I think some of the other ones in their higher-quality vintage line are.

I like traditional denim with no stretch and my waist to thigh ratio makes skinny or even slim cut jeans a no-go.

What kind of jeans do you wear? I've read Levis quality isn't great anymore. I usually stay away from regular fits for pants. Slim jeans for sure, not sure what brand. I can go up to $200.

You want Railcars. They are very well made and not skinny jeans. They use all sorts of cool denim.

I’ve always wondered with these types of jeans that come in a standard inseam of like 34, when you get them to chain stitch to your inseam, wouldn’t that frick up the taper and bottom opening measurements? For instance, if you get them at 30 inseam, your leg opening isn’t likely to still be 7 inches, right?

Dang, you are quite the sartorial fellow.

.Question, if you were buying a new suit, cuffs or no cuffs?

Obviously, pleats are (have been) out.

I really wonder how some of you guys dress sometimes

I couldn’t tell you the last time I shopped at Banana Republic, but what is exactly “gay” about slim fit traveler’s jeans?

Buckle is the go to. Expensive but nice quality. Will last for years.

They're comfortable for my body type but I'd never call them durable. They're the opposite of long lasting.

No cuffs on a suit, for me. Some can pull it off, but I prefer a more sleek profile because I’m short and cuffs would bring attention to that
