The kind of people who are gonna buy this already have Ferraris and Lambo’s.

Or at least could afford them if they wanted. I know 2 people that got these. One is in Covington/Folsom area and is a certified Ford nut. Has both modern generations of the Ford GT and many special ford models from the 40's to the GT. That is the #1 type of buyer for this car. Has FU money and loves Ford.

Are people in Livingston parish doing the same? Riding dirt bikes and 4 wheelers and golf carts on the road.

Yes or No

Your answer is the answer you seek.

LOL they should stop them too. In some neighborhoods golf carts are legal. Many of those ATVs in New Orleans are stolen. Keep reaching.

I'm a 50 something year old white dude and if I started poppin the wheelies up and down my street the sheriff's office would be over here in minutes.

Yeah repairing not building something new. Nice try

Notice I said "new"

It is part of the billion $ river city project and they will start on the new 1000 room Omni Convention Center hotel pretty soon. But ok.

Get the TC5
Don’t get a TR

The TC is the old school turn knob (not digital) and it has a legit agitator.

Get that, and you will be happy!

Yes it will wash your comforter
Aren't these rough on clothes? Not exactly washing horse blankets over here lol.

Our 3 year old TR7 set has been great.
Level flooring (showroom in W covington) installed our engineered wood and did all of ort tile work, building shower pans etc. Would recommend. Had one small problem I noticed down the road and they came right out. This was almost 6 years ago at this point, all good. I have also heard good things about Krause flooring

Let me know when a crane is erected

How big of an erection would it have to be to satisfy you? There is a crane on the new Shell building by the convention center.
JD power 90 day initial quality is a huge thing in the auto industry and has been for decades.
built our "realistic dream home" in 2020. 3.25% jumbo. Not planning to ever move. BUT if we did it would be to a much smaller place/placeS and would likely pay cash at that point.
My parents had a 69 427 corvette with side pipes as their only car when I was born in 72. I rode everywhere on my mom's lap lol. Eventually they realized that wasn't safe so they traded it for a ford hippie van with no A/C.
They suffered with that a few years until the Smokie and the Bandit craze hit. They got a a t- top thunder chicken Trans Am. Prolly had 200 hp but I used to giggle when Dad would push the pedal a bit.

Their TA wasn't the classic black with tan interior and gold chicken and wheels. It was black with red interior with silver chicken and silver wheels. I've never seen another one in that combo.

I’d normally recommend staying at The Ponte Vedra Club but it’s undergoing major renovations and it’s subsequently not the greatest time to stay there.
I was going to say the same. One of my best friends lives right down the boulevard from the club and sawgrass. He's on the "dry" side but what a nice place to live. I was like WTF when he bought basically a teardown in 2016 but he's gonna make a killing on that place one day. He kept like one wall for tax purposes and then went crazy on the house LOL.

As others have mentioned, reach out to a couple local builders. Scheffy is great, we wanted him to build our home, but he was hesitant at the time to build in St Tammany.

who did you end up using? We used J Hand in Covington and were happy. This was during early covid and we've been satisfied I saw someone complain about him on here but everyone I talk to locally has been happy. We used Onsite MH out of BR for our plans and Shawn Mitchel was great.

Yeah that "SouthMarket District" is a failure. Nothing is staying around there. They were betting on everyone moving to condos downtown as a trend and that really hasn't worked out.

Saint X brew/BBQ place just closed last week. I find it odd how some places make it and some don't down there. Willa Jean and the Tacos del Cartel seem to do ok.

I know it’s kind of cheesy but I like watching the big ballers bid up these VIN 1 or first production cars and then one will concede to the other for the purchase, especially when the proceeds go to charity.

On a much smaller scale, last year, a group I am involved in was auctioning a new GT3 RS for Cystic Fibrosis. It was a big deal for us as we had never auctioned a car and this was our 10yr anniversary. Porsche let us do this at the center in ATL, covered the air freight and tariff as well as letting us have a special PTS/sonderwusch allocation. I think the sticker was $350k which we paid. Auction comes and 2 guys in the room wanted it. It stalled out at like $580k when one guy tells the other guy, "I'm out on the car but if you'll pay $600k I'll match the amount over sticker as a donation." So we made $500k after paying for the car and both guys got a decent tax deduction. Baller status.

I’m very interested to see what happens during the next bear market or bubble burst. I think i read that almost over 25% of the market is made up of retail investors which is the largest percentage in history. And retail at this point has been conditioned to “buy the dip”. Institutional investors have to account for that and follow suit to a certain extent.

yes that and retail investors have unprecedented access. Now everybody can trade on their phone in seconds while waiting for coffee.

he will after the tow truck drags them up on the trailer....

If he gets the right tow company they will bring some junkyard wheels. Source is personal experience. This happened to my wife and son in his brand new Honda in Houston. It took a call to the dealership to see what tow company they used but we found one with some loaner wheels. Allstate paid full price to the dealer for everything but the car only had like 800 miles on it. Rotors were not damaged but the backing plates were. So wheels, tires, TPMS monitors, backing plates, lugs and labor, full alignment and camera alignment because backing plates require suspension disassembly. The 3 mile tow was about $350 as well. Whole amount charged to insurance was like $5800 IIRC. They had to rent a car to get home. I went back three days later and there were 3 cars sitting on blocks at the dealership. Pretty sure I found the thief on FB marketplace but Houston PD basically laughed at me (as expected)
not bad at all during the day. my son lives on that end of Carondelet and I walk/run through there and down St. Charles all the time when I don't feel like going the other direction downtown/FQ/riverfront. Walk to the circle k at night with no real problems either I just act more aware. I usually have AirPods in whether I'm listening to something or not and I find that helps with people trying to talk to me. if they do, I just point to my ears and keep moving lol.

I hear this a lot. Out of curiosity, what more would you want your phone to do?

We don’t know what we don’t know. Before the iPhone came out we didn’t even know that it was even possible. It was a giant leap than any of the “smart” phones of the time. I had a Windows phone that was absolute garbage after I held the first iPhone in my hand. The next 16+ iterations have been incremental. Would love to see a huge leap forward again of some sort.
