SpaceX, especially while it’s being built, is going to require a highly skilled workforce. This includes the peripheral service industry.
The regular New Iberia hoes aren’t going to cut it. And there aren’t enough of them. We need to bring in hundreds of workers. And they will need housing.

In the 1980's when Oxxy had and LPG ship loading terminal in Hackberry, Vietnamese hookers would show up as a ship was docking. There was security or guard gate to come through until a Ducth seaman phucked some wife after picking her up in a nearby bar. The terminal didn't take kindly to an irate husband ranting and shooting a pistol at the ship while it was loading liquid propane,.while she was in his bunk.
