Now that's a classic lol. Even my grandma thought it was an oldie when she was young.

I’ll Fly Away
Amazing Grace
Power in the Blood
The Old Rugged Cross
Victory in Jesus
Blessed Assurance
It Is Well With My Soul

And of course, during every invitational…

Just As I Am (In case you couldn’t tell, I was raised Southern Baptist)

Very accurate. A few additions:

Holy, Holy, Holy
I Surrender All
At The Cross
Jesus Paid It All
Nothing But The Blood

I can’t believe I forgot this one. I remember as a kid in church this little old lady named Cora Davenport, had to be like 90 years old, who would sing this one like super loud and way off key.

As I kid I was kinda scared of her because she was so old her eyes were sunk back in her head, making her look sort of skeletal. But you could bet your last dollar every Sunday her and her gigantic beehive hairdo would be in that front pew with her giant family Bible (the one with a picture of Jesus praying in the garden on the cover that was on all our coffee table growing up, you know the one) ready to go.

DROP KICK ME JESUS

Dropkick me, Jesus, through the goalposts of life
End over end, neither left, nor the right
Straight through the heart of them righteous uprights
Dropkick me, Jesus, through the goalposts of life

Make me, oh, make me, Lord, more than I am
Make a piece in your master game plan
Free from the earthly tempestion below
I've got the will, Lord, if you've got the toe

People steal, they cheat, they lie
For wealth and what it will buy
But don't they know on the Judgment Day
All the gold and silver will melt away

I'd rather be in a deep dark grave
And know that my poor soul was saved
Than to live in this world in a house of gold
And deny my God and doom my soul

Not an older traditional song, but "I Know a Name" is on my playlist.

Were you there when they crucified my Lord

Were you there when they crucified my Lord

Sometimes it makes me, Lord it makes me tremble ... tremble, tremble ....

Were you there when they crucified my Lord

I don’t remember the name of the hymn but 2 lines are:

He walks with me and
He talks with me

This was at a small Methodist church.

We didn't sing that regularly at my church but when we did- a lady in the choir with a beautiful alto voice would blast it out.

What a Friend We Have in Jesus
All our sins and grief to bare
What a privilege to carry
Everything to God in prayer.
