According to Tarzana they are expecting 682 mph winds at landfall. Buckle up.

Can i survive the 175 degreee temps and the 700 mph gusts if I ...

I am assuming it is 682 sustained, with higher gusts.

You do realize that the outlook you are referencing says percent chance that the temps are above normal, right? Not that they are 70-80% above normal Temps.

I didn't look at the chart but LOL if that is what it is saying. Tarzana is a blithering moron.

No... thats exactly what the chart is saying.

I looked up the chart this morning to send to my Louisiana friends to laugh at their misery.

But you know, just 100 degrees miserable.

Makes the FSU game complicated. Might hit there and impact game. Might hit home while we are there.

Had to watch the UCLA game down a random dirt road because it was the only spot I had data

Kind of glad I missed most of it

I remember last year when the game was in Nola.. months before the season, Rantards we’re pretty much guaranteeing a hurricane would impact that game

This hurricane season will be a bust just like last year. I understand it only takes one storm to cause people misery but I just don’t think NOAA’s prediction will come close. Too much dry air and wind sheer in place.

The gulf at 80% higher than its average this time of year would be around 150+ degrees?

That depends on the scale if you raise the current temperature in kelvin by 80% that's 534K or 501F. In C it's 52 or 126F. Gonna need yogagirl to clarify.

That is 100% what that chart/graphic says. It has always said that. Tarzana is just an idiot, and with the inability to learn I'm starting to believe she is legitimately mentally challenged.

Here is the referenced chart which from this day forward shall be known The Tarzana Chart if anyone is interested.

Also interesting - there will be a mid-summer freeze in the southwest desert and northeast.

My bad... I misread the NOAA Climate 6-10 Day Outlook Color Chart-- it should be 80-90% above normal, for the areas colored dark maroon/brownish: all of LA, East Texas, most of Oklahoma and Arkansas, and parts of Miss, Ala, GA and FL.

Here is what tarzana is struggling mightily to comprehend:

ETA: I didn't see that BP had posted it.
