Battlefield data analyzed by The Telegraph suggest the Kremlin’s war machine is under serious strain.
After years of grinding, attritional offensives and a high number of casualties, Russia’s battlefield momentum has slowed sharply in recent months. In some sectors, it is reversing altogether.
In April, Russian forces suffered a net territorial loss in Ukraine, the first such setback since Ukraine’s incursion into Kursk in 2024, according to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
The Washington-based think tank assessed that Moscow lost control of 46 square miles over the month...

There should be an extended length of sentence for anyone who uses sympathy for young children to scam people.
Maybe double the standard length of sentence for other scams??

But now you are posting fake stories
FYI, there have been several really good, thought provoking posts in this thread about the 5 amendments, especially the posts discussing the inventory tax amendment.
I learned something about that amendment which I had not considered before I started this thread. And for that I am grateful to those posters.
It's a shame your deep-seated paranoia keeps you from adding anything intelligent to this discussion.

While I 100% agree with Pres Trump's position about stopping large hedge funds and other mega corporations from buying single family residences en masse, I don't like using Executive Orders to create laws bypassing congress.
To me that opens the door for the next Barry Obama or Joe Biden to do the same thing.

So being here longer gives you more right to stay?
They know they broke the law years ago but they've done nothing to achieve legal status.
During Biden's term the federal government was handing out "get out of jail free" cards to just about any illegal border crosser, even those who had committed felonies in their own country.
No sympathy for them at all, even though I feel for the children they leave behind here.

This passes for journalism in 2026. Not a hint of dishonesty.
Not a single mention the reason Louisiana's congressional districts are being redrawn is because the U.S. Supreme Court recently ruled the current congressional districts are unconstitutionally gerrymandered based on race. :casty:

quote:Early voting is not held at the regular voting precincts, at least in EBR.
if the polling places aren’t being monitored it does no good. This is where our system is vulnerable and really only in certain voting precincts.
For example, in East Baton Rouge Parish there are only 5 locations for early voting:
1) MOTOR VEHICLE BLDG
BAKER
2) FIRE STATION BLDG
11010 COURSEY BLVD
BATON ROUGE
3) LOUISIANA STATE ARCHIVES BLDG
3851 ESSEN LANE
BATON ROUGE
4) CENTRAL BRANCH LIBRARY
11260 JOOR ROAD
BATON ROUGE
5) BATON ROUGE CITY HALL
BATON ROUGE
When I vote early I use the State Archives Building on Essen Lane and it appears to me the voter identification process is strict.
You have to show your voter ID at the door of the building before you can even enter the room where the voting machines are.
Then when you approach the line of voting machines a person again asks for your ID card and then he walks you to the voting machine for your precinct.
In Orleans Parish there are only 4 early voting locations.
This link shows the early voting locations for each parish: Sec of State's early voting website
