Well, I started smoking weed at 11.
Didn't start selling until I was about 14 or 15. Got in the game through my sister's boyfriend at the time. Her ex now, as she found out what he was doing and left him and eventually got married to a pretty good dude.

16. Was about 2003. I was starting to leave the house as my friends got cars. My parents wanted to be able to get in touch with me whenever they wanted, so they got me a cheap Sprint line with minimum minutes and no features like text messaging or data. I got whatever free Nokia phone came with the line.
Had that phone for 4 years or so until the iPhone came out. I bought the iPhone when it dropped to $400 and then starting paying the phone bill myself.

It's funny about this thread coming up.. We had our kids school's City Park Night last night..
One of my son's classmates, who is 8, was carrying around his I phone 6... Kid's parents have a shite ton of money, and even If I had their money, my 8 year old wouldn't have his own phone...

When I was 27 or so and needed one for work. It was of course an older flip phone. Stayed with the old style phone a long as time even after the I-Phones and similar ones came out. I didn't think I needed a "fancy" phone.
I couldn't imagine living without a good phone these days.

When I was in high school my mom had a cell phone that she would make me take when I went out with friends or to movies so she could call me from the house

I was 15, it was a rectangle Nokia, I think the first one with a color screen. I rarely used it because texting wasn't a thing back then. Really just used it to call people for rides, and play games on it.
