Hosting the Superbowl. There's your answer to why they need an upgrade.

I

The NFL probably didn't like some aspects of Alligient Stadium and told Las Vegas that if they want to host the Superbowl again, they need to make upgrades to make the stadium more to their liking.

Milroe isn't big enough for LB

Debatable. He was a great running back in college though.

People need to stop claiming he was a Quarterback. He wasn't. He was a running back who could throw the ball at a slightly above average level (especially if compared to all other running backs).

The second time he played LSU, he threw for 109 yards. He ran for 185 yards and 4 TDs. The year before he ran for 155 and 4 TDs,

8 TDs against LSU, all rushing. Not a single passing TD.

His Senior year at Bama he finished with 16 passing TDs, and 20 rushing.

But the one thing that lets us know that he's not a Quarterback is What happened against MIchigan in the playoffs. With your entire season depending on a single play, the coach's didn't call a pass play for their "quarterback", they called a run play for their "quarterback". They had more faith in his running ability than his passing ability.
The first answer I thought of is probably the right answer to this question: Jordan Jefferson.

He should have listened to the coaches and moved over to Safety. He probably would have had a decent NFL career.

But he wanted to play QB, and his competition for that position was almost non-existent. Especially compared to the competition he'd go up against for Safety.

it was the wrong decision because his athletic skills and physical attributes dwarfed his throwing arm and decision making skills. His win-loss record and turnover ratio are what they are because he was to slow to read the field resulting in scrambling and check downs (actually faux check downs. He only had two options on his mind every pass play: the reciever he watched at the snap, and the running back he passed to in the flat when there wasn't busted coverage)

Community light roast and in-between roast are very good.

And the Caramel flavor is phenomenal. I'm not a flavored coffee guy, but my girlfriend introduced me to it and I'm finding myself brewing that most mornings these days. Makes great iced coffee.

One that caught my eye last time I was at the store is the cinnamon bun flavor they have. Gonna buy some Friday to test out.

The New Orleans Saints won a Superbowl.

How much more proof of His Existence does God need to give you people?

Vince Young is still making money off of Texas and it's fans.

How are they "exploiting" the fans? I mean, Vince works for Texas and does a podcast with Mack Brown telling stories about when he played for Texas.

Who's listening to that except for Texas fans?

And is he "exploiting" those fans who do listen and support the show?

Well that probably did move people to theaters, but movies also ran for a long time in theaters. Obviously no home media option until really 80s, outside of airing on broadcast TV starting in maybe 50s.

Internet says initial theatrical run was 185 days, but then it was released again in the following years

1942
1947
1954
1961
1967 (70mm version)
1971
1989 (50th anniversary restoration)
1998 (restored theatrical release)

So that's where James Cameron learned it from.

Big difference though is that his movies have long theatrical runs, and numerous re-releases, but they also premier in thousands of theaters, whereas GTWW only ran in 37 theaters in it's 1941 run. And that was it's wide-release.

1940 it had only roadshow engagements at the price of $1 a ticket, double the normal price of movie tickets. The prices were lowered to the standard 50 cents for the wide release.

I’m not sure why people would expect players from out of state to act differently. Personally, I don’t care what Burrow or Daniels think of LSU

I guarantee you that if Coach O calls Joe to come down, he's going to do it.

I doubt Brian Kelly ever extended invitations or made former players feel like they were welcomed. Some have hinted heavily at things being that way during BK's tenure.

Don't be surprised if we start seeing more former players at games and around the program now with Coach O back in the building. They love him, and he loves them.

And it's genuine.

Aggies? Big brother went before you and they just joined

Mizzou's been twice. Arky and South Carolina have both been numerous times. Oklahoma is only two seasons in. I believe in them going before Aggy.

Aggy and Ole Miss are the only two out of the former West Division to never go.

Even State has gone.

Both probably missed their window to go: Ole Miss lost Lane, and Aggy lost that baby-soft schedule they propped themselves up with last season.

Difference is our guys come back to games and stand on the sidelines to support the players.

Because they don't have to be at work on Sundays.

Lsu fans fooling themselves if they think Burrow has some great loyalty. He just doesn't give a shite what they do with his number. Anybody ever seen Joe Burrow down on the lsu sideline? They were both 2 year rentals who took their best offer.

Our two year rentals have managed to stay in the league way longer than y'all's two year rental.

Funny but petty, it’s best to let it go and let the new news take over

Y'all printed souvenir cups because you finally won a game vs LSU in 7 OTs after multiple terrible calls by the refs.

And the best part? You didn't print them to use for one game against LSU. Y'all served them the entire season against teams that weren't LSU, in a season where you didn't even play LSU at home, to celebrate a win

Now, what were you saying about being petty?
Good luck with that Momma Daniels.

We still display a convicted Felon's Heisman without a care. Think we're going to stop displaying your son's because you're upset about not receiving profit share from sales of a #5 jersey?

That's what this is about. As long as nobody else can wear the number, then all jersey sales for that number 5 would be eligible for them to claim a share of the profit. But now the jersey sales shares will be split.

He most likely could give a rat's arse, but his mom and his financial manager aren't happy about a potential revenue stream drying up.

Things to ask before you take this on:

Can you pick them up off the floor if they fall? Even if you're strong, a 100 lb little old lady is surprisingly heavy if she's dead weight and can't help you.

Are you ready for behavioral changes? Very common in dementia. Are you ready for them to accuse you of stealing from them? The scary hallucinations that make them violent? What are you going to do if they start wandering?

Went through all this with my grandma. It's not a big imposition if everyone is involved. She had daughters, sons, SILs/DILs, grandchildren, etc. All providing help to care for her.

Like I said: we are a close family.

It's a shame that is a difficult concept for most people to grasp.
The Fat Electrician did an episode on the history of Air Conditioning and he says that you can make the argument that Air Conditioning is responsible for the rise of the movie industry and Hollywood because movie theaters were one of the first industries to adopt the air conditioner. People didn't go to the movies because they wanted to watch the films, they went because they could sit in the air conditioning for 2 hours and get out of the heat (which could be a correlation to the Summer blockbuster season, as that's the time of year that hollywood would sell the most tickets, and Hollywood is an industry resistant to change).

Now, taking that into consideration: if people were willing to buy tickets to sit in the A/C for two hours, then how tempting would it be to buy a ticket for a 4 hour movie and be able to get out of the summer heat for the duration of the hottest part of the day? We know that people bought tickets to see GWTW multiple times to garner such high sells, and this is probably the most likely explanation for doing so.

Just something that crossed my mind while watching his video.

If you haven't seen it, or don't know who he is, then here it is. I suggest watching his back catalog, as he is one of the most entertaining story tellers when it comes to history and historical figures.

Those school car pool lines are no joke

Every private school car pool line is filled with wine drunk housewives.

I was going through the Garden District yesterday around 3 and the amount of women in SUVs speeding through the neighborhood and ignoring stop signs on their way to St Joseph was comically sad.

A DUI checkpoint set up after leaving private school pickup would result dozens of DUIs with child endangerment because of children in the car.
