One of those gray little Nokia bricks.
I had a land line at home, and my office had a phone, and whenever I was out and about I was usually with someone else with a cell phone. I never saw a need for one.
I only got one because work people and customers were constantly asking for my cell number, and after a while it got embarrassing to tell people I didn't have one.

Mid 90's I'd guess. My first phone was a Startac and I don't miss those monthly bills they had back in those days.

While my friends got theirs when they were 11 or 12, I got mine when I was 16 and a half years old, and was literally the shittiest flip phone ever created too.

Had a pager when I was young bc my older brother got a new one and passed his down to me. I was probably 8 or so and thought I was the shite. Not only did I have a pager, but it was one of the clear cover ones, so I thought I was just that much more cool.
Think I had my first cell phone when I was 13 or 14.

My Dad had a car phone probably around 1975. I had a car phone by 1989. I got my first cell phone in probably 1997 or so I would guess.
