Stay north of the train tracks and you'll be fine.
This is all you really have to say. Jennings is a pretty normal south Louisiana town north of the tracks.
Greens has the best burgers and chicken sandwich - I eat there frequently. Rocket is really good too. Darrel's always a solid choice.
Little meh golf course that has a lot of usuals that does ok for the amount of members/budget they have.

I doesn't appear that anyone's nose is actually broken....player, coach nor parent
I don’t know if it’s actually broken, but I know the coach and got messed up pretty bad trying to break up part of the brawl. That part 100% happened. He was the first dude I saw trying to get himself out of it, 2-3 Plaquemine players were throwing punches while the coach was trying to remove himself from the situation. He was trying to get away and Plaquemine players were pulling at him and he was trying to shield himself.
There wasn’t much chirping throughout the game so I was very surprised it started. The teams went out to shake hands, everyone in the stands kind of started leaving and looked up and noticed both teams throwing hands. Different scuffles of players got all the way into the north end zone from the 50. It wasn’t a couple going at it. I would say at least 10 from each side were included in different altercations. Swinging helmets, punches, tackling. It was wild.
Very odd situation. No clue how it started. I’ve heard multiple different things and really not buying the “coach spit on a player.” The coach who was more messed up definitely would not have been the one to do that.
It was pandemonium for about 10 minutes.
re: Don’t expect this LSU offense to be elite until Walker Howard is the QB
Posted by SBvital on 10/12/22 at 10:09 am to 00 Tech Grad
I'll say this, which has nothing to do with Walker's on the field merit... but he looks to be very involved every time I look on the sidelines. High fiving players coming off the field, sitting with the QBs after a good or bad drive. Celebrating when someone scores or positive happens.
Just gives me a good vibe and excited to see his future.

I'm expecting the atmosphere to be pretty good tomorrow. Could be a turning point in Kelly's first year.

This is nothing out of the ordinary.
Probably hasn't needed to use the LLC for anything and forgot to file.

Is it likely that we lose at UK? yes
But if we lose to UK, then beat UF at home?
O probably sticks around til end of season.
I think this is a likely scenario. I just don't see them firing him mid season unless it "really" gets out of hand.
re: What are your thoughts on people who never have children?
Posted by SBvital on 9/30/21 at 4:20 pm to Odysseus32
I have more friends/family who brag and gloat about not having kids than friends/family who have kids who look down on people who choose not to have kids, if that makes sense.
If you don't want kids, that's fine.. don't try to make me feel bad for having the life I want though.
I tell everyone that asks though, there aren't many better feelings than coming home after a long day at work to my two kids running at the door to give me a hug.

re: Best Game/Moments you had during the 2019 run?

I'll throw in an "interesting" moment..
Day of the national championship game falls on my birthday. I go all day getting hyped up for the game, telling everyone at work that it's going to be the perfect birthday situation ever, having people over, game on, grilling steaks.. going to be a great time.
Halftime of the game I get a stomach virus.. literally can't leave the bathroom floor. I watch the end of the game on my phone and when the clock struck 0:00 I just held my fist in the air and told myself "they did it.. we won..." and went to sleep. It was an awful night but also a great night.. I'll never forget it. Also gives me the blues that I will never get to experience the end of that game like it deserved. Such a special season.
The best part is having to call in sick the next day.. told my boss what happened and there's no chance in hell they believed me.. imagine hyping up that evening and call in sick the next day with the classic "virus" excuse..
