re: Why is there no complaining about I10 in Jefferson Parish sim. to the claiborne overpass? - efrad
That is cool stuff. Do you have a link/source? I like history. I think that the photo you posted misses my house by a street or two.
I'm in the same area, but only moved in this area within the last 10 years. "Old Metairie Memories" group on facebook has a lot of good members with...

re: Why is there no complaining about I10 in Jefferson Parish sim. to the claiborne overpass? - efrad
I10 in Orleans went through an existing well developed area when it was built In Metairie, there was hardly anything developed for I10 to go through at the time it was built eta: of course, trying to do anything about it now is a waste of time. It's already there, if there was a community dest...

re: New Computer build - efrad
Due to the shortages, now is a really bad time to be picking parts out to build a rig. Especially for graphics cards. The prices are nuts. But it's a lot easier to find prebuilt rigs with good GPUs. I wouldn't normally suggest to buy a prebuild, but you might end up better off going that route ...

re: New Computer build - efrad
The 3600 and 2070 are last gen but are certainly not dated The only way I would bother upgrading is if I could sell my parts at inflated eBay scarcity prices and then somehow score a deal on newer parts at MSRP but good luck with that Otherwise, it’s not worth bothering to upgrade that box rig...

I laughed my arse off and told them back in the 90s and 2000s, the last thing a business wanted was a check and risk it bouncing.
you do realize that this isn't the 90s or the 2000s anymore? I honestly pay very little attention to IBM these days, but I have a friend who worked for them for a few years and left some time before the pandemic. The major takeaway from relating his time spent there is that it is a sinking ship. ...
The McDonalds case was 100% legitimate. They knew the coffee machine was malfunctioning and refused to fix it. The coffee was boiling so hot that it scalded the woman with 3rd degree burns.
