i do this when i travel often. it's better than sitting alone in a hotel room masturbating or watching sports alone. struck up some fun conversations with people from it.

Why are so many people always concerned with what other people are doing?
I don't go to bars, but I've gone out to dinner by myself and gone to the movies by myself before.

I go sit at the Chimes occasionally and have a few pops. Usually when the wife and kids are gone and I'm bored

I eat out by myself whenever I can and try to get out once a week for drinks by myself. If I'm unable to I get pissed. I'm around people all damn day. Girl wants my free time most of the rest of the time.
I want goddamn peace and quiet as often as I can get it and wish I could drink alone more often and be left alone in happy peace more often.

I've been that guy many times when I'm traveling for work. I'll happily find a bar with a good tap list, TVs, and wifi, and sit there and do work while enjoying a few beers.

I try this every once in a while and can't do it for more than 10 minutes or so. The other night I was leaving work late and randomly stopped by a bar on the way home to unwind with a beer or two. It was okay sitting there soaking in the scene because I rarely go out these days (married w two young kids and friends are either out of town or on lock down) but after a short time it was just weird and I left. I'm too used to always being out with at least another friend if not a whole crew in the old days so the transition is too much.

I mean why grow up? Some peoples family are no better than you are. So yeh ill gladly get wasted with a hot as bartender so I don't have to deal with squares like you. Sometimes I rather give my money to a hot bartender than my own family.
