Post this in the Sports card and memorabilia thread on the More Sports Board.

Good idea. Done.
I posted this in the OT and someone suggested I also post it here.

Just wanted to post an update to my thread from a few months ago where I asked for advice on selling the childhood card collection that my brother and I put together as kids. Link to that thread:

Selling Baseball Collection

I had been following Chasing Cardboard, so I took a chance and submitted our collection to them. For those of you who don’t know, Chasing Cardboard goes around the country buying sports card collections and filming the episodes. High quality production and they’re just like American Pickers but with cards. They look for the stories as much as the cards.

Well, they Immediately got in touch with us, set up a date and came out to film us earlier this month. The episode went live this morning and here’s the link.

Chasing Cardboard

They filmed for most of the day and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish.

Enjoy.

Or maybe he was being polite and doesn’t want to eat in a stranger’s house. I kind of get that.

How long was the crew there? Did they like boudin?

They were there for about 7 hours. I had no idea they would film that long. Ben loved the jambalaya and the boudin. Matt, the producer/video guy said he’s a very picky eater and didn’t try anything.
Wait, you watched the whole video already?

No hat Guidry looks like Kid Rock.
Even the Iranian foreign minister can’t speak without saying “you know” every other sentence. Sounds like a teenager.
Congratulations. I retired about 8 months ago and it’s even better than I had imagined. The stress left instantly and I feel much better physically and mentally. I’ve never been so relaxed in my entire life.

Enjoy!

Is the hand gesture that Yorke makes after a HR, supposed to be a “Z”?

That’s all I can come up with.
