Former athletes of the OT: How to feed the competitive spirit

Like many of you, I spent 15 of the first 20 years of my life playing competitive sports, being super competitive about grades, competing with other baws to get the hottest girl, etc.
Fast forward another 15 to 20 years and there is, at least for me, an absence of ways to fuel the competive spirit that still resides inside of me. My motivation to do much more than what is required is at an all-time low. My life is pretty much on cruise control at this time: somewhat successful business owner, wife, kids, and a few good friends. I’m content, but still feel like I’m missing something and all I can come up with is that my soul still wants to compete.
TL;DR. What are some ways you guys still feed that primal need to compete? Any athletic competitions any of you participate in?

I golf and mtn bike. There are races and such you can find on usacycle.org. Its still a rush to compete. I also sign up for as many golf tournaments my country club puts on.

Seriously, how competitive are you, or do want to be?
I'd suggest pick up basketball games up on North Foster. Scotlandville,Brookstown BREC park has good athletes as well.

I've been relegated to Golf & Bowling
I miss 4-5 days a week pickup Basketball games but I just can't risk the injuries at my age.
Also, I my job is competitive with other Regions.

I played in various rec leagues for various sports up until I turned 30 in 2016. Former athletes trying to relive the "glory days" and taking everything too seriously is what made me quit.

At one point, super competitive. The need to compete went away as I was building my business and raising a family. Now that the business is established and my kids are high school aged, I have more free time and I’m bored to death

Golf.
I also have a job that has a competitive nature to it, so that helps as well.
Also a big fan of Monopoly.
