All eyes on Arkansas’ Offense

Bobby is back. 3 year starting QB KJ Jefferson is gone. Everyone wants to know what Arkansas’ offense will look like this year. Allow me to introduce 6’6, 4.4 40, QB Taylen Green. Green’s spring game highlights: [link=(https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=7PTKTW_jDkE&pp=ygUMVGF5bGVuIGdyZWVu)]LINK[/li...
If I had a magic wand I'd go hire a badass HC and retain Petrino as OC, and they would all get along,
You would need someone as old or older than Petrino, someone he respects and has a relationship with. Someone with head coaching experience. Like John L Smith. ...
Is there a chance that Barnhart panicked and didn't want Kentucky to be told no by multiple coaches?
I wouldn’t say he panicked, but I’m sure that was part of it. You swing for the fences twice and miss, not that big of a story. You get told “no” three times and now you’re on to 4t...
He would have left Auburn for Kentucky.
I don’t know. That’s far from a given and UK may have not wanted to risk being told “no thanks” by a SEC coach from a lower tier school....
I get it. He built Baylor and can get knocked out of the tourney in the first weekend the next two years and still be “the man.” He goes to Kentucky and the pressure intensifies ten fold....

Everyone would take an Elite 8 run over a regular season conference championship or conference tournament championship. Doesn’t mean you ignore the regular season though in evaluating your coach’s performance....
Cal by a hair because I think he’s more stable and consistent. I love Muss as a coach though....
UK just hasn’t strung together a good NCAA tourney run the last few years. Yeah, it’s disappointing, but to make a judgment on Cal as a coach over a 4 game sample size, when you look at his whole career and fact he’s still been fielding teams that have been at the top of our conference, is short-sig...
No one has a crystal ball, but anyone grading this hire less than a “A” needs to turn off their device....

I think the most interesting question is if it’s not one of the 3 listed in OP, who’s the next top target?...
Hurley - no way he’s leaving UCONN for another college job. Donovan - He’s an NBA coach now. Unlikely he has desire to come back to college. Drew - Really good coach, would definitely at least give hard consideration to any offer. BUT, he’s been at Baylor a long time and built it into the nati...
Dude has made it to at least the Elite 8 twelve times in his career. 12!...
Also, why would he ask for a counter when we're paying less than his current salary at Kentucky.
“You’re paying me $8.5, Arkansas has offered $8M. You’re gonna need to come down to $7M to keep me.”...
