Dent and Clark are still eligible under the California TRO

Thank you for the clarification. What terrible times for the NCAA when you need a law degree to understand who is on your roster
I'm just not understanding why it is such a big deal to the NCAA that a group of seniors who were actively seniors in school when the new rule was conceived and approved (though it did not go into effect at that time) would have the new rule applied to them. I would understand it more if this was the 2020 class or players who were already out of school when the rule was created that would open the door for a tidal wave of previous players to have an extra year, but again the players being discussed were actively enrolled when the rule was developed. Just seems dumb that they would be excluded in my opinion
Does the new 5 for 5 ruling for the 2022 class mean Clark is back to being ineligible?
Can someone explain which players this effects? I am getting lost in the lawsuits, appeals, restrainign order, etc. Does it effect Skyy Clark or any other basketball signings?
It can still be done if you are willing to crank out some shitty years first. At least I hope that's the case.

I mean i get what youre saying, but also, just my opinion, people shouldn't have to worry about getting shot or their children getting shot or getting mugged just so they can afford a house

Not really. I think St. Louis is the only team that reguarly had large crowds

Unrelated to Birmingham but I went to St. Louis early last year and stayed downtown. Was an absolute ghost town Friday night, then all of a sudden around 10 am saturday morning downtown was packed with people seeminly within minutes. People kept doing this fricking screeching thing and I had no idea what was happening because I forgot that the UFL even existing. Game happened and after the game downtown immediately returned to a ghost town. Was such an odd experience, but damn those people loved their Battlehawks

This tech bro hellscape we are living in sucks. I don't want to live on this planet anymore.

This is what happens when greed infiltrates to the very core of a society and becomes the principle on which that society is built. No more do people stop to think "Is this worth it in the long-run?" or "How will this impact humanity as a whole" or even "What the frick are we doing here?" instead its "What's the latest advancement I can make a buck on?" "How can I profit more off of this?" "How can I beat my competitor to the next advancement?"

What's left is an environment where the general population is simply viewed as a commodity by those who have the means to rise above general population. We are being turned into cattle by the elite. Want an idea of where we are quickly headed as a society, go check out large, commercial, mass-production dairy/cattle farms. I'll give you a hint, you're not going to see many cows who look like they are enjoying their lives. Instead you'll see a bunch of malnurished cows being milked to their last drop just waiting for the next bucket of grain to come down the chute to feed them. That's quickly becoming us and its being done in a way where we really won't have much of an option

ETA yes this is a melt because between government overreach and AI companies attempting to infiltrate every part of your life and ruining everything it touches, this shite sucks and is infuriating
Get a friend to set up a phone in front of a TV in the US and facetime you. Best I got
A couple of thoughts on this. Any one that takes Sam Altman, Dario Armodei, hell even Elon or any of these AI CEO's on their word with AI is being naive. OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Meta, Grok, etc all remain unprofitable as of now and are being funded by private investments. Their job is to keep those investments coming in until AI becomes profitable (OpenAI previously reported that they would be profitable by 2030, no idea whether that's still the case or not) so they have to keep the hype going. How do you do that? Making statements that no one can necessarily dissprove that make it seem as though you are seconds away from discovering the next best thing, essentially trying to convince investors to hop in now before they get left behind.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, i find it very funny how hard AI is being shoved down our throats and how much we are told that we need to love and embrace it as if its sole purpose isn't to replace us. If mass replacement of workers takes place as it has already started to, wealth will not just go away like Elon swears, instead it will be consolidated at the top even more while we normies beg for the scraps. They continue to say "AI will replace jobs but it will also create new jobs" yet no one can seem to pinpoint exactly what those "new jobs" are for 80% of the workers being replaced and in reality those "new jobs" will just be replaced with AI anyways.

tldr: they're pissing on head and telling us its raining and the mass public is happy to play along

re: LSU Basketball Schedule Released

Posted by Aforem7 on 7/27/26 at 11:31 am to
Fun but managable out of conference schedule. Gonzaga and Houston will obviously be extremely tough but having UCF, Wake, High Point, ULL and Washington St at home will be pretty fun. SEC schedule as usual is brutal but thats what happens when 12-14 of the sec teams are tournament hopefuls with probably 6 of them expecting deep runs

21 st century? Maybe the diversion project that just got cancelled?

Work heavily in the coastal engineering industry. People have no idea the level of corruption that went on with cancelling this between Landry, Nungesser, Gordy Dove, and the Oyster Mafia down in Plaquemines Parish

This is bullshite. We go to the one downtown almost every weekend. Get all of our meat from there, most of our produce, dairy products, etc. More expensive than a grocery store but higher quality, the money stays locally, and I know where the food is coming from. Nearly everything that is sold is produced locally so idk what farmers market youre going to

construction or coaching. And I will be the first to say it. The "money" aspect, while important, is overblown. Good coaches win

This cannot be stated enough and why I hated the argument when it came to mcmahon. Am I supposed to believe that Mcneese outspent LSU when wade was there? Or FAU when May was there? But yet both of those teams would have beat the shite out of any of Mcmahons teams

And for the record, if this season turns out to be disappointing which I dont think it will be, I'll be here saying the exact same thing. You can throw all the millions of dollars you want at players, but if you cant coach them its not worth shite
Considered going to Georgia Tech and Tulane

Applied to LSU, ULL, and LA Tech because I didnt feel like being in a shite ton of debt

Went to LSU

That's why it floods badly in heavy rain. Same thing that happened in Tennessee and North Carolina during the Helene remnants a few years back.. it all funnels to the watersheds.

Most people that live in relatively flat areas really don't comprehend how this is possible. More mountainous areas are extremely susceptible to flash flooding. When rain falls at the higher elevations, the water travels quickly to one central point: the river. Its different than flooding in south louisiana and other gulf coastal areas because most flooding here is caused by the water not having anywhere to go. Think about it like filling up a bath tub vs a funnel. The bathtub fills up a lot slower and takes a lot more time to fill, but when its filled its deep and takes forever to drain. Thats south louisiana. Now imagine quickly pour water into a funnel. The water level in the funnel is going to jump up really quickly (like what we are seeing with the Guadalupe) but is also going to reside very quickly (also why there high velocity dangers with these flash floods)

The water quality itself is greatly improved (which was one of the goals of the dredging). Now the issue is cleaning up the banks which now have a lot of overgrowth

Its time for some of you to make some big boy decisions and move out of that shithole state. Im the only person in my family that was able to escape and thrive in a new environment. Why do you all continue to choose to keep your families in that environment? There's so much better out there that yall will never know. Its pathetic, honestly

Comments like this are retarded bc youre just assuming that everyone has the financial ability, job flexibility, and desire to just say "alright kids grab your shite, tell your friends goodbye, we're heading to utah".

People have families, friends, and careers here. It is not the fault of good, law-abiding BR residents that it has turned into a shite hole. Nor should it be the responsibility of those residents to flea the life they have built for themselves and their kids bc our leaders dont want to do their jobs. Continue to push our elected officials to fix the shite that they helped create.
Lurked for years. Wade getting suspended in 2019 pissed me off and no one in my immediate group seemed to be as pissed off as I was. To TD I went
