He wouldn’t win he would get crushed. He’s not black and not an over the top liberal.

No one is asking him to stay nor is anyone begging him to stay...

Even if he won 10 Super Bowls, his color will be used against him and unfortunately there are a lot of people that vote specifically based on that.

Truth. I learned recently that unfortunately there;s a lot of ambivalence toward him in the black community. shite to my surprise a fair amount of blacks here are Steelers/Cowboys fans not Saints fans. A minority but still way more than I would have expected.

Also Packers, 49ers. Assuming it had to do with fact the Saints games were blacked out and people unknowingly became front runners for teams that were always on tv.

really hope he runs for mayor of NOLA one day. He would win in a landslide and would actually help the city.

He wouldn’t win. And it’s like 50-50 if he’d try to get the city into a failed get rich quick scheme if he won.

I’d buy a ranch in Texas and keep my place in San Diego.

By strong presence he means his Jimmy Johns franchises.

With his money he'd be insane to stay in New Orleans

Yep that some rough livin' Uptown right off of St. Charles and having to send the kids to Newman. The horror.

I know this is sarcastic but that is pretty close to my real reaction to the prospect you describe. It's a cute neighborhood, but not very "livable" in my estimation.

Walk Ons
Brees Dream Foundation
Second Harvest
FNA Flag Football league

Just a few things that will keep him busy in Louisiana

The other part to consider is this: TulaneLSU is over the top, but not by much. There really are people who consider you an interloper if your family wasn't here for the Yellow Fever Epidemic of 1846. The same things that make New Orleans quirky and charming to visitors make it tough for newcomers to fit in, no matter how wealthy they are.

You do realize California is much bigger where prices are not as all you’ve described? High end cities, sure. But it’s a pretty big state.

We’re discussing San Diego, not a farmhouse in NorCal.
