I do. We had one black cat who stuck around and only liked me and one of my sons. Lamont was a great pet and I miss him hissing at my wife.

Yes I do and keep out fresh water. They don't bother anything. I did take and had them fixed though.

Mamaw left all the table scraps out for them. They did a hell of the job of keeping the rodent population down in the broiler house and barns.
My great uncle told us about "Cat Day" they would have every couple of years on the big farm in Sabine Parish. The cat population would get kinda crazy so the boys got one day to shoot as many as they could. They looked forward to that day as kids.

We have one that comes to our house every day and lounges around. I call him Strut. I feed him. Why not?

No chance, as my dog terrorizes everything that comes into our yard. Snakes, cats, opossums, to name a few.

Yes just enough to have them hang around. I give them a bonus treat for each confirmed kill.

Always have said I’d adopt a cat if it showed up on my doorstep.
Seems much more organic than picking one out from a shelter or pet store.
