You're right. They're not. It's why I don't watch ESPN, unless it's for a game. The days of Stuart Scott giving me the highlights with a few catch phrases are long gone.
A TV show with Josh Pate is fine if you're trying to have an early morning/late night show like NFL Matchup with Ron Jaworski. He's not charasmatic at all, if you're trying to create a show to draw in large viewership numbers.
