Dogs. I got two dogs that love me. I have a 16 year old cat that literally hates the whole world except my wife. Even though I feed her each morning I think she would kill me in my sleep if she could.

Dogs are basically another kid. No thanks.

And cats are like a mother-in-law with an attitude. Absolutely no thanks

The right dog will be the best pet you’ll find, but I do enjoy the average cat more than the average dog.

After all, cats are furry ninjas and nature’s comic relief.

I feel like this is some sort of profiling question, like the bar scene with Ricky Bobby and the French dude plays Jazz.

Like both but agree OP. My cats just do their thing and can be left for 3-4 days.

They aren’t as obedient but def can be personality developed.

Love dogs but they are high maintenance.

Nobody would ever say this about a cat.

Truth is, dogs are, at their core, social animals like us. That's why dogs "Get" us in a way cat's don't.

My dog grooms himself even his balls, butt, and wanker.

My grandfather had many dogs, but when the cat was killed by coyotes he went on a coyote killing spree. I don't think he was ever fully satisfied, either. 'The only good coyote is a dead coyote' sort of thing. He was right anyways.

Cats. Extremely low maintenance and don’t need constant attention.

Pound for pound they are absolute killing machines compared to dogs. They are like Tier 1 operators that make dogs look like Coyote doing his BJJ and taking a bath.

I present to you sir, the Jack Russell Terrier/Feist/Rat Terrier....

A good pack of dogs is like Seal team 6 on rats...

Cats, but dogs are great too. Cats are definitely easier to take care of, in most cases. They're trainable too...but spray bottles are never going to work.

Dogs all the way.

But let me clarify, not those little 4 pound ankle biters.

I have always had golden retrievers. Best breed there is. They are loyal, smart, loving, hilarious, and can be great watch dogs and hunters.

Well, my cat and my dog both turn 5 this month, so I feel pretty well qualified on this opinion.

I prefer the one that shits outside. If it weren't for the litter box, I would be a cat person.

Cats are only an acceptable answer if you keep them in a barn or horse stall.

In ancient times, cats were worshipped as gods.
They have never forgotten that.
