Dogs all day. No matter how shitty my day was. No matter how many people are pissed off at me, my dog is always thrilled to see me when I get home from work. It's like she hasn't seen me in years.

i love both my dogs and cats. they serve different purposes. but if you just look at objective facts, cats are the better pet.
also, if you're coming here to argue dogs are better and only have sub 25# dogs, you just have stupid cats and dont know it.

Meh I have both, 2 cats and a Doberman. You still have to take care of cats, just not as much, at least indoor cats you have to care for. Both cats and dogs are funny as hell, watching a cat stalk a dog and attack it is funny, they get along with the Doberman. Cats are passive aggressive though and can be assholes, which for whatever reason makes me laugh. Heaven forbid you try to read something on paper without a cat sitting on it and looking at you like “what’s your problem bitch?”
Cats are also cool when you get sick, won’t leave your side. Now my house gets broke into the cats are worthless but wtf they gonna do? My Doberman then becomes my favorite pet, for that moment at least.

indeed. the last maintenance guy that came to my house asked if i was sure he could come inside. said he was fine as long as he was with me (truth is my dobbie probably would just love on him to death regardless if i was there or not).
