The only problem with California is that it's full of people from California.

I’ve been to the Red Wood National Forest and it’s probably my favorite US location that I’ve visited. The Moab and Arches National Park May be #2.
I do want to visit more of Cali though. You could definitely spend a year in the state just going from park to park.

There is a reason why people are leaving that shithole by the millions per year

Absolutely. But it isn’t because the state is an ugly landscape

One day I was standing on the top of Mt. Whitney, the highest point in the lower 48 (at 14,500 ft). The next morning I drove two hours (120 mi) to Badwater, Death Valley (the real Death Valley
), the lowest point in North America at -280 ft. The landscapes in this area are crazy. You can even hike to the top of 11,000 ft Telescope Peak and look down on Badwater.

Hiking in las Trampas this weekend. Went to big basin a couple weeks ago.

It's a beautiful state controlled by fricked up liberal progressives.

The Central Coast around San Luis Obispo might be the perfect place to live.....expensive by our standards, but just remarkable.

Because the quality of life has improved so much. Because people in California are living so well, you can't be poor or below average and make it there.
Any former Californians that moved to Louisiana are the shitty ones. They'll fit right in here.

it's just empty desert. you can find emptiness in every state in some form or another. nice attempt at trashing California, again.

What? Massive insecurity.

It's the middle class that's fleeing. The rich and poor are doing just fine.
Ca is the land of extremes. Always has been.

Washington and Oregon just don't have quite the diversity as Cali.
It's quite close.
Oregon and Washington are in the top 5 imo.
Eta....my downvoter clearly doesn't have a clue or has only been to Seattle and Portland.

The politics have so F'ed up that state. The people living there don't deserve that beautiful state.

According to the US Census Bureau, the poor are the ones fleeing

The people leaving tend to be relatively poor, and many lack college degrees.

Plus you can poop on the sidewalks...

Middle class vanishes as Ca becomes the State with most poverty.

Callfornians moving out in droves. Who's moving in? The wealthy. Who's moving out? Middle class. Which segment is growing? The poor.

What's the future?

I told my wife this last night, but if it wasn’t such a liberal cesspool, I’d move there.
