I read the article. Orange sure is anxious to get the Chinese to the negotiating table. It's as if he's demanding it.

Maybe Americans will start figuring out good fortune and happiness does not come from buying cheap Chinese goods manufactured by slave labor.
I chuckled. Upvote forthwith.

But according to the article in the OP, he's not illegal, a criminal or terrorist.

Call me cynical but I read this as more of a cry of despair that the group was fractured and failing to show solidarity. I think he became dissillusioned for lack of support and had his feels hurt by the decrease in funds that were likely coming to him from his Iranian puppets. Doesn't matter, he FAFO that coming into a country under one regime is not the same with a new sheriff in town. Biden and his corrupt pack of libtards allowed anything into this country and tolerated their actions. This administration is not doing that. more of them need to be rounded up and shown the door. This is not Europe.
Ok.
Well according to the article, these are his words as well...
I am so touched by the Jewish community that is able to see the oppression and to support the human rights and liberation of my Palestinian people," Mahdawi said on Instagram regarding a 2021 pro-Palestinian protest. "Be mindful that Judaism is not Zionism, and that so many Jews in the United States are opposing the apartheid and the discrimination of the state of Israel."
What's the "FA" part in this? The article doesn't explain that part.

One of these men pictured in a tribute in an October Instagram post appeared to be wearing a rifle strap and standing next to someone who also wore a strap that appeared to be connected to a rifle stock."
I saw that part. As this unfolds, maybe we'll get more context with that. Based on the article in the OP though, his words are not supportive of a terrorist organization. In fact, the article points these words out as his own...
In December, he wrote on X/Twitter that the "pro-Palestine movement at Columbia has been fractured, robbed, and hijacked by hidden forces."
Maybe he agrees with folks who say Iran was behind all that.
But is he allowed to draw inspiration from dead friends and family or is that supporting terrorism?

Hey man, fair enough. I'll put a finer point on it. I don't think you're a bot, but for alot of folks on this board, to criticize any part of this administration's actions or inaction is to criticize Orange himself and that shite simply won't stand. To them, you're either a bot or a TDS fig. Now which is it?

Usually, these protesters try to separate Palestinians from Hamas as if the Palestinians are somehow different from the terrorists they elected to lead and kill for them. In this case, the guy was an actual Hamas defender. Defending terrorism will get you kicked out every time.
Well here's the entire paragraph. It adds a little more context..
"Following the October 7 massacre, Mahdawi became a prominent activist leader and critic of the military campaign against Hamas, but the petition claimed that he had backed away from organizing last March. In December, he wrote on X/Twitter that the "pro-Palestine movement at Columbia has been fractured, robbed, and hijacked by hidden forces."
I won't presume to know what he meant by the first part. Maybe he meant he was critical of the campaign because of what it was doing to civilians. Many people were. Criticizing Israeli actions against Hamas is not a defense of Hamas. Israel's actions against Hamas (whether people support it or not) has been a profound blood bath.
The last four years have taught all of us how our words are often taken out of context and used against us. There are many people who have been critical of the fight against Hamas, not because they support Hamas, but because of what it's done to civilians.
The second part of the paragraph, I think is more telling.

I've always been pro 2nd amendment but I was never radical about it. Up until the "Summer of love 2.0", I kinda thought that people who carry guns, especially in the suburbs, were weirdos.
Prior to all that whacked out bullshite, the only guns I owned were for hunting and put away. But after? No more.
I've had a concealed carry permit since 2021. I log range hours. I own 5 pistols, a tactical shotgun, a 9mm carbine and about 6,000 rounds of ammo.
I'v become one of the same people who I thought were weird for carrying a gun. It's now as second nature to me as picking up my wallet.
I represent what liberalism in this country created. Liberalism armed me to the teeth.

I read the article. I may have missed that part of it. When you read the article, did you see reference to any of that?

I voted for Trump for two reasons. Secure the southern border (promise kept) and keep us out of for profit corporate wars. We'll see how he does on number two. So far, the Israeli knob slobbering is a little worrisome.

Wiping out Barbarian thugs is a good thing. Should have done this long ago,
Well if you believe Israel will wipe them out though.
I think Israel has the means and will to do it, but not the political desire. What's Israel without it's enemies, without it's victimhood? The identity of victimhood is one that the Israelis and Palestinians both share equally.
Right now, Palestinians are "out victiming" the Israelis. Well Israel won't stand for that. Before long, Israel will take it's victimhood back. It's the driving force behind American support. They have to have it. If Israel isn't under some sort of assault be it violent or in word, American eyes aren't turned to it.
I don't trust what I see here. At the moment we all think Hamas is dead and gone, never to return. Israel will take its boot of the Hamas throat and allow it a gasp of air.
Israel has a war lust with Iran. They'll need American sympathies. Hamas will play a part in gaining and keeping that. Israel needs Hamas to keep hitting them at home. Iran can't get up close and personal like that.
Hamas will always have a place and purpose in the Israeli power structure.

The executive will decide it. And if that decision is unpopular enough there will be political ramifications.
But the courts will decide it man.
The executive branch has made a decision to deport and the courts have blocked it. He'll be granted a hearing in New Jersey, and no matter the outcome, I think both sides can appeal. If it were only the executive branch deciding this, he would be in Syria or Algeria by now. There's actually a possibility this goes to the Supreme Court.
