Link 3 is interviews with people who are not middle class. One is an Executive Director, one owns his own software business, another was retired and left. None of these people are middle class by any means


ETA: All the articles I could find saying the "middle class is leaving California in droves" give no evidence to that. The ones that do cite some form of census information say families earning less than $100,000, which includes some of the middle class (around $77k in California), but mostly it is the lower income.

I'm with you.

It's a demographic time bomb for sure.

I know a lot of good people in Ca, they make decent money too, but the tax and regulatory burden along with the cost of living is overwhelming.


It's a gorgeous state, it has some great people as well, but middle classs realize they can have a higher standard of living elsewhere.

Someone else but the best vacation I've been on was 8 weeks in SE AK when I was 13.

Only been back once since but planning on a week long fishing trip one day.
