Phone only, I preferred android and my pixel to my iPhone.
However, when considering the entire apple ecosystem, which i was otherwise invested in (Apple TV, MacBook, iPad) and that the Apple Watch Ultra is the best smartwatch, going with an iPhone was a no-brainer.

Now list all the terrorist attacks they’ve sponsored

La Quinta is very nice. Driving from there on a Saturday to L.A. (or Anaheim) and back - THEN back to LAX the next day sounds a bit miserable to me. I would just relax in the desert the whole time but that’s just me.
agree, it's a lot of driving and traffic in LA doesn't subside on the weekend. it's not a ton of mileage, but you could be in the car for hours at a time.
it's mostly chain restaurants, absolutely nothing worth recommending
re: I know it’s cliche, but our best athletes would dominate Soccer.

Do you actually think this would be remotely difficult to setup if there was a want?
You can’t just turn it on like a faucet. It’s ingrained in culture and Europe is littered with the best coaches at the best academies.

I still have yet to see anything resembling a convincing argument that the US wouldn’t be a global soccer powerhouse if we had trained our best athletes from toddler age on soccer.
It’s not about the athletes, it’s about the training. We don’t have the training.
Spain wins 1 or 2 to nil.

our elite athletes will choose basketball, football, and baseball before soccer every time
Elite athletes don’t matter, look at Messi. He looks like an 8th grade history teacher
Belgium playing like it’s 2018 again

Those PNN losers should move back to the ME if they love it so much
I didn’t find it to be political at all (just historical) until they got to the electoral college segment.
2% interest rates and lack of inventory during COVID is why home values increased. They’ve been stagnant since rates normalized.
I’ll bet fifa wishes America could host every World Cup. We have the infrastructure for them to expand to as many teams as they’d like.

You are the one searching for an excuse to claim emotional reactions against the Jews. Facts Are Facts - deal with it.
Mass migration is a liberal problem, not a joo problem. If you want to assign culpability to any religion, Catholics are probably the worst offenders.
So when does he serve the suspension? Does he ever miss a game?
Also, what if he gets a yellow against Belgium?

Ok, maybe I'm remembering wrong, or maybe it just depended on the stadium...but Houston and Dallas didn't have anything less than $175 ish. I'm still sour about not getting any tickets after entering every lottery.
Also, given how absolutely awesome this WC has been, even $250 is a steal and totally within the realm of affordability for a serious fan.
It’s the $2k per seat resale that’s insane.

Yes it is bad. Nose bleed seat face value was at best $250.
This is not true. I registered for tix in the $175 category in Los Angeles and I believe there was an even cheaper tier available.
quote:
wtf are you talking about. How else are they getting tickets?
Some of the tickets are bought by actual supporters at face value (likely the people OP is referring to) and some are bought by bots/scalpers for insane resale.
The face value on the tix isn’t bad, but it is hard to imagine working class South Americans being able to afford tix at the resale prices.
What fifa has allowed with the resale situation is shameful

2nd behind the Argentina v France and only because that was a Final in my opinion.
Agree, 2022 WC final was best I’ve ever seen.
Big bet on Morocco ml for me. I think they’re elite.
90s were just as good as the 80s. Early internet and aol was frickin awesome for a horny teenager (or so I’ve heard)
