Regarding the 911 call: the dispatcher asked if the passed out person was black. Is that standard for them to ask? Also I’ve heard it said that an ambulance should have been sent not the police. But the dispatcher asked the caller did she need ambulance, fire or police and the valet replied police. Why didn’t 911 dispatch send both???

The Mayor called her out yesterday
Said she started the fire (I have not watched video but read here it was already on fire)
Said she cost over 40 people their jobs & also that this part of town is part of a food desert & Wendys was where the community was able to get salads

To be clear, everyone is showing this white girl as the fire starter. I hope she's prosecuted, but there are about 50 other people who should be prosecuted (likely white and black).
New helicopters filmed dozens of people shooting fireworks into the Wendys, running up with gas cans trying to set it on fire, etc. So the narrative of "look a white instigator did this" is true, but it's also laughable because about 30 black kids were trying to do it too.
In some ways, if this white girl gets thrown to the wolves for trying to be an "ally" - I'll love it. Serves her right. But as usual in 2020, the story is "oh it was a peaceful protest but for..." which ignores that the Wendys had already had all glass broken 2 hours before, had 3-4 other fires set nearby, etc.

If taser hits cop, and now cop is lying on ground stunned, do you see how that is potentially a very very grave situation when you have an intoxicated man fighting the cops?

WHat happens when this criminal shoots the taser and hits the officer? Officer goes down. Officer has a gun that he wasn't using since you don't think he should be using it, but he has it on him. Now officer is down, and criminal is in control to take gun and shoot officer.
Is that so difficult to comprehend?

Tasers can be lethal, it was a weapon stolen from them, they may have just reacted to him pointing what looked like a gun back at them. Could be any of those or something else. I’m sure the reasoning will come out.

Why did he drive drunk? Why didn’t he get an Uber? Why did he resist? Why did he punch a cop? Why did he take a cops taser? Why did he run? Why did he fire a taser at a cop? There are all kinds of what ifs.

Police always show up first to make sure everythign is safe. EMT and fireman aren't policeman, even though they can get their first. The police are there to make sure its safe for the emergency responders.
And why would an ambulance show up to assess why someone in their running car parked in the drivethru at Wendy's be the first to respond? That's not how things work.

Because the justification for using lethal force is whether a reasonable officer would perceive an imminent threat of death or serious bodily injury. The law does not require officers to accept being seriously injured under these circumstances when someone is using any weapon in a manner that threatens their safety.

Hard to understand why people don't immediately see this. A cop shouldn't be expected to allow himself to be tased by a violent perp who has just stolen his taser.
