I live right off the MS River bridge on Nicholson where the circular down ramp onto highland had a tree knock down lines. They’ve been working on it for now 3 days. It’s holding up that intersection and a lane of Nicholson so figure it’s been prioritized. Hoping this is resolved and is the cause of my outage. Basically everywhere around us has power. Downtown, Highland (north campus) and some of north campus up to West Garfield area.

The tree has been gone for a couple days but there’s a broken pole on the ground at west lakeview and hillview. No crews currently present.

I’m across the lake from Rue De Tonti and think I get fed from this circuit most of the time. We actually had power for about 12 hours two nights ago but it went off yesterday around 1 pm.

I'm just seeing your posts. Do you work for entergy or are the tools you are using available to anyone? You seem to have more knowledge about this than most.

My guess he has access to the Entergy EMS system data in some way. Likely using PI.

Sounds like you’re on the same circuit as part of Pastureview this which is affecting a few on here. According to my SimpliSafe alarm, power was restored at 11:03pm and went out at 1:02pm, so almost exactly 14 hours. I’m hoping it’s just a loose limb that blew a fuse and it’s a simple fuse swap. Entergy told us “trouble cleared” which should mean the obstruction that caused the fault is gone. I’d think all that’s left is to inspect/test the line then swap the fuse back in but who knows.

any info for any IEJT folks. When are we expected to get power back? The downed tree on West Inniswold is taken care of.

They were working on the line between Bluebonnet Terrace and JT6 earlier and last night. Has to be close

Stumberg, Hickory Ridge, Jones Creek, Shenandoah areas?

Supposedly someone said we are powered by the sub station behind Benny's on Coursey, I'm a novice and have no clue , but it looks very intact, but they are saying some transmission lines are down. I figured it would be on by Friday, but today is the first day I'm losing hope. But I've been in worse spots so Ill live lo!

sounds like a plan. i welcome any info at this point that is remotely accurate. i can survive without power so i dont care about being out. however, it would be nice to know whats going around us because i'd plan accordingly. I don't like hoarding gas and supplies that others could use. But if I'm going to be out another 3-4 days, i need to refuel

Anyone off Stuart in Southdowns with power?

Most of Stuart appears to have power.
Stevens (all), parts of Aberdeen, Hyacinth, and Floyd also have power as of last night. Pickett from Mimosa down to Perkins also has power.

Any information on Oak Hills in Watson. We are up past the ballpark and the front of subdivision is Entergy and the back is Demco, we have always been told our part (entergy) comes out of a substation in Central....

much appreciate your info..

Millbrook’s feeder comes from the Weiner Substation and that sub is currently down to to TL issues.

They will try to energize through alternate sources from an adjacent substation if it’s possible.

Any update on this one? Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us.

My wife (EDIT: no pics) has been reporting the outage daily and was told the “status has changed” and it should be restored “within the hour.” Don’t wanna get hopes up but just maybe we’ll be back on today.

Would enjoy meeting you in person to extend my neighborhood network. Send me an email if you get a chance.

I couldn’t think of a better place to ask this, so during the 2016 flooding event, how long were power outages in the 70817 zip code? Shenandoah, Lake at White Oak, White Oak Landing, etc?
