Good on you for no debt, as that would be my first plans for that money If not planning on down payment for a home, agree with your plan. However, I'd take 10-20k (5-10%) of that money and use it for something fun as you're making a great decision that many would not....

That's really unfortunate - I frequented there for coffee and pastries when lived in BR. They had a very friendly knowledgeable staff and served a good nice in the community. Much preferred going there vs Starbucks or CCs...
