Wife and I have stayed at The Royal Horeseguards multiple times. Right on River Thames and two Underground stations nearby. Very close to Big Ben, Tower of London area.
We stayed in Athens. Enjoyed the UGA bar scene then got up and left early next morning. Traffic was bad in Augusta but thats gonna happen wherever you stay. It was about hour and half away if i remember correctly.

Congrats...it is a great trip.

I got tickets 2 of the first four years i tried and nothing since (20 years plus). Back in the day you had to fill out an index card with information and mail it in. I won both times that way. Never again since its gone online :banghead:
Bo Bahnson and the Compliance office during the Saban/Miles years who did everything they could do to get us on probation or make players ineligible

Ole Miss acting like losing Lane Kiffin and hiring Pete Golding was a great move

i lived in Memphis for many years. Tuberville did a job bringing them back to relevance and when he left in the night all you heard was how they upgraded with Cutcliffe and Tuberville was trash. The Ole Miss football A "Cut" above shirts were everywhere

Eli Manning graduates and Michael Spurlock was going to be better because he could run.

Eli threw bad passes in games but he only threw it there to make sure his receivers could work on makin hard catches.

Ole Miss is 35-0 at home at night or whatever the number was and in fine print was (against non conference teams) but you sill had to hear about it constantly

Every loss was about the gritty Rebs fought to the end (Similar to the McMen here with our basketball program)

They could come up with more BS and sell it to the fanbase and off they went with the message. As an outside fanbase you really just wanted to beat your head against the wall listening to it

The U destroying us in the rain in the 80's and walking out and realizing just how far we had fallen.

Shaun Alexander running for 290 or so on the same play over and over and we could do nothing to stop it. Seems like gameday was there also which made it feel even worse.

Why did he leave last time. I don't remember if it was for a college or another high school position. I remember he did the Prospects organization.

I think the Board pushed him out. CP's has a reputation for getting crossways with coaches. Guess the Board has turned over since then.
Central Private rehires Seth Stevens. Good dude and CP alum
Traveling from BTR area so wanting something less than all day drive
one of my friends paid his rent while at slu throwing darts same time period

He was really fun to watch at Navy. He would be a special teams demon and could be third down back/slot receiver.
Been many years since i explored LSU and people have told you some good stuff...just to add...

Go see the old Cow Palace and show them where BBall used to play and you used to be able to get into the old locker room area if you tried hard enough.

Try to get into Tiger Stadium. Its occasionally open and you can walk in just dont get on field anymore unless someone lets you

Baseball stadium is always open and you can get down to field as long as practice is not going on.

Let them see the parade grounds and go into some of the buildings. Bell Tower building has a museum in it if i remember correctly. if i am wrong its still a cool old building. Law school is interesting to see. Go into union and bookstore.

Take them to quad to see all the tang walking around. Middle schoolers will go crazy with what they see

Get them ice cream at the dairy

Enjoy the day

He's had to deal with some really brutal winter storms. If he is still out there he has a great shot to make it if he doesn't get hurt

I’m doing my annual vicarious hike through YouTubers.

I cant find one this year yet that I really like. The Heard Hiker a couple years ago may have been my favorite. Kelly Hays Hikes also was good. Tried to watch the two guys from LA last year but they got so chaotic then split up I just ended up not watching after a while.

Any AT Hikers this year?

We have had a few from here do it before and many of us find someone to follow every year. With many thru-hikers starting April 1 each year, just seeing who is out there that is on this board or someone we know.
