I saw a couple once while jogging the Campion Trail in Irving TX just lounging by the trail about 50 yards off it. They didn't care about the few folks going back and forth.

Pretty sure I saw one off Harrell’s Ferry Rd around 2014-2015.

They make less noise than a D9 dozer for sure.

We have them in our yard all the time.

We have a distinct individual (assume a male) that comes through every 3-4 weeks and a mom that comes through with her kids often as well. They like to sleep behind a pine tree in the back corner.

They blend in so well we have to look carefully before letting our small dog out.

I have a large bobcat skull in my freezer. Lots of them in the woods along Bayou Black. I saw a mother with kittens on time from a deer stand.

I usually see a few every hunting season, they're not just nocturnal. Sometimes even get a video...

About 20 years ago my sister ran over a bobcat off I-10 between New Orleans and Baton Rouge. She did about $2000 worth of damage to the front of her car. I’ve never seen a bobcat in the wild in my life,

They're some cool critters for sure. It is crazy how quiet they are when running wife open. I hike almost every weekend during the summer and hunt pretty much every weekend during winter and have maybe seen 5 in my life.

I got to watch one for about an hour a couple of years ago. It was sniffing around for squirrels.

I'll say this. Used to have a big reef aquarium back in the day. All kinds of corals, bunch of cool fish. For some reason decided to put a banded coral shrimp in their one day. The first night he hid behind the rocks and took out literally every fish in there one by one like Citizen Vigilante. Didn't even bother eating them; just left corpses. Even though I added him to the tank in the middle of the day this sumbitch somehow went undetected by every stupid fish in there. I have to nominate him for a silent predator.

I was rabbit hunting in Marshall County when I was about 11-12, with dad & uncles. I was sitting quietly by a creek, listening to the dogs, & waiting for my shot.

About 15 mins into my hunt, I hear BOOM!! To my left over the creek was a large log & on top of that log was a dead bobcat that fell in the creek.

I never saw or heard the cat. My uncle said he watched him for about 5 mins before he shot. I didn't see or hear my uncle either until he shot.

Thats only 1 of 2 times I've seen a bobcat. I got lucky.

I've killed quite a few. Had them kill a lot of my outside cats.

There is one that lives in the woods behind my house. I put out table scraps for him.

Saw one trotting along side a ride in St Francisville. I was surprised and it was late afternoon.

The entire cat family is just a cheat code in the animal kingdom.

Unreal dexterity and strength.
