I think Samsung is on the 7th or 8th generation of their "fold" phones.
I looked at them when I got a new phone a few months ago, but I didn't care for the size. If I want a tablet I will just get a tablet, and the novelty wasn't enough of a selling point. I just got the S26 something or the other and will run it til it can't run anymore. My last phone was the S8 Acitve, and it was so old that apps stopped working on it.

No one is saying it’s revolutionary, but Apple makes everything across devices easy, so having a foldable phone as an option isn’t a bad thing. I don’t care for the shape of this thing, but a foldable is an intriguing option.

You must be unfamiliar with the Xerox PARC trip Jobs and others took in the early 80s. Xerox had things like Ethernet and GUIs years before the Mac was invented.

Apple is resting on its laurels now. It’s not even close to being the same kind of company it was in the mid to late 2000s. Jobs was an absolute genius in terms of innovation and creation. There will never be another big tech CEO like him.
