Why are they orbiting so high? Apollo 8 was 70 miles above the moon.

Completely a guess, but I think they are keeping a lot of clearance as a safety factor. You know we are super, extremely, cautious compared to 1969.

Please lord, let them fly over the Apollo landing sites. Amen

They aren't going as close as the Artemis 1 mission which passed 81 miles above the surface of the moon. They are passing over 6,000 miles above the surface on the manned mission. Not sure what kind of images they will get?

How safe is it for teenagers to start taking creatine? Son wants to take it, but I am not sure he should.

The inflation rate went down? I thought it went up almost half a point or so?

Didn’t they mention inflation actually increasing in the same report?

This is the answer. Focus on what you can control. No matter the situation, it is a competition for everyone. If you outwork them, then you will almost certainly be one of the top performers and have no issues.

Also, Sweet Home Alabama fricking blows

For sure overplayed, but an outstanding, generational classic song. There is a reason it is still among the most played songs from that era.
I try to avoid them. I see a propensity for obesity, poverty, a yen for fairy tales, folks putting what few bucks they do have into little wicker baskets being passed around. Anyone who thinks the earth is 6,000 years old is extremely low iq.

True Detective Season 1?
Get in on the offshore operations side and perform well at your job and you will have a stable job as long as you want. Stay as close to the wellhead as possible and you will never anything to worry about.

AI can’t work a pipe wrench and is nowhere close to being able to having the level of complex thinking that can operate a process system.
History of nuclear weapon engineering evolution from the beginning until the 70s or so. Everything about all the experimentation and testing in the Pacific is so fascinating to me. Also loved reading about Edward Teller and Curtis Lemay and how they were true madmen.

Who gives a shite it was a worthless protest that did nothing!!!

It is OK to say, "dang they got us this time and we were wrong." Yall are so hypocritical. I bet a lot of the downvoters in this thread were celebrating the initial false report. Just as bad as the other side.

Love that movie, it is so funny. General Buck Turgidson is so out of control and hellbent on nuclear war. I think he was partially modeled after General Curtis Lemay who in real life was probably as outlandish.

Is it because the truck represents a version of Americana that people hope still exists? Or something else.

It’s because a large majority of people buy overpriced trucks as an attempt to portray their status to everyone. In reality it is one of the worst ways to spend your money.

The emotional charge comes from defending their ill advised purchase that will lose money extremely fast.

I recently read Nuclear War: A Scenario by Annie Jacobsen

I found her book an attempt to prey on fear of people that know nothing about the history of nuclear weapons. I love reading about that subject, but was immediately turned off by her writing.

Being more specific on location would help.

Anywhere close to Lafayette would be good.

What is the actual compression ratio. What cc are the domes? How much timing advance?

I think +4 on the timing. Not sure what CC or ratio it is at. I bought a compression tester and was surprised that it was above 180 on both cylinders. I tried to run pump gas and octane booster in the past and it wasnt cutting it.

Double the ratio then. My God man!? How do you function?

Bet you think you are clever.

What kind of ATV needs 110 octane gas? I'm genuinely curious

Type really doesn't matter, just the compression ratio. Mine is a banshee, with 185 pounds of compression in each cylinder which necessitates the need for high octane fuel.
