LSU has the largest Nike Blue Ribbon Elite football class in the country. The program launched in Baton Rouge in December 2025 and expanded in September to include 40 LSU student-athletes across 14 sports.

Jones has emerged as LSU's leading running back after transferring from Wisconsin during the offseason. Through eight games, Jones has rushed for 657 yards and six touchdowns on 149 carries, averaging 4.4 yards per attempt. He also ranks fourth in the SEC in rushing yards.

Jones has also contributed in the passing game, catching 30 passes for 217 yards, giving him 874 total yards from scrimmage this season.
