I wonder how many old people will get the phone and still keep the text on extra large and people will be able to read the screen from across the room or Helen Keller.
I never understood why Apple never added traditional phone connectivity with iPads. I know you can do FaceTime, but not everyone you call can be reached with FaceTime.

This is not a new gadget.
Apple has let the market work out the kinks. You’ll have a few tiny things here and there but foldables have been iterated on for years now.

I guess that can happen if you have one of those smart adjustable beds. It can fold you up like George Jetson.

If they get the Samsung version they could have the privacy display where those nosey assholes couldn't even see the screen.

They make some polarized screen protectors that darken the screen at sharp angles. You almost have to be directly in front of them to see the screen. Some doctor offices have similar screen covers to stop you from looking at the computer in case they have another patient’s file open.

I just wish they would make the small version again. The one where you could hold it in one hand and reach the other side with your thumb to hit a button. They are all basically two handers now.

Another feature that Samsung beat Apple to market with. Samsung started selling foldable smartphones in 2019.

The iPhone 17 was literally brand new around 6 months ago and they are already coming out with the 18. Goodness gracious Apple.
