Passengers complaining how hard it is to climb into my lifted truck. I was thinking a Mazda CX3 or a Ford Focus.

I daily a car smaller than a subcompact SUV, but I am pretty sure it isn't what you are really asking about.
I think one question you need to ask at the outset is do you actually need a lifted truck or is it almost completely a feels over logic thing? If it isn't honestly a need just return the truck to OEM height or get a new truck and drive the type of vehicle you prefer all the time.

I drive a scion Xb and I think it’s the most practical vehicle ever made. I’m on my second one after someone totaled my first one.
Huge amounts of room inside, gets 30 mpg average, handles really well and is dependable as gravity.
I’ve put a total of 400k between the two I’ve had and I’ve only had to change the brakes. They are insanely reliable.

I drove a Camry until I was 32. I kind of miss it. Was really cheap to drive.

I had a RAV4 and Mazda 6 for a bit that I sometimes miss.
My kid had a hard time crawling down from my truck while wearing her backpack on her first day of school yesterday. It was the first time things felt excessive.

I drive a Honda Fit for my daily driver. The most inexpensive car to maintain, more than enough room for what I use it for. 10 gallon tank, 35-40 mpg, a full set of tires for less than $400.
16 years old and it runs perfectly. We do have a larger vehicle for when we take family trips, but for my daily commute, you can't beat this little car.

I have a Camry right now. It’s great, I get 48 mpg. Basic package is perfect for what I use it for… commuting.

I drive a 2024 MINI Cooper JCW. Technically it has back seats but they're pretty useless for carrying passengers.

I've always had a small car for my commute. Why would I waste money that I earn driving something with shitty MPG if I am not using it for its intended purpose? There are too many people driving around their lifted white F150s that will never go off road and only use the bed twice a year.

I have a Honda Civic 2017 - purchased new right after college (truck broke down) and have out 150k miles on it. I am patiently waiting for the car to explode so I can get a major upgrade. I hate the car at this point but the gas millage and no note is too nice to stroke my ego with a new car.
