Average American male is 5’9”. This is what the FDA recommends for inactive people (also average for Americans)

We would be a nation of only skinny people if it was followed…..

Am I saying it’s the best guide ever? No. But it’s better than a retarded kindergarten students plan like scruffy says

People should be able to eat/drink whatever they want.

Companies shouldn't knowingly serve people stuff that they know is basically poison.

The gov't should stay out of it.

Exactly!

Dunkin is a business. Their goal is to sell products people want to consume. I don't think they are marketing this as some low calorie health drink. If someone wants to ingest this as their "morning coffee", that is their decision.

You run the risk of sliding down a VERY slippery slope if you start allowing the government to pick and choose what is "good for" people. Maybe they decide guns aren't "good for you" because they can kill people. Maybe they decide bourbon should be banned because it can also have negative health effects. Maybe the decide unproven and largely untested vaccines are good for you, and mandate you get one.

If you want to be 500 lbs...so be it. Just don't ask me to (a) think it's "healthy", (b) consider you physically "beautiful", of (c) change my behaviors to accommodate things that are difficult for you because of your morbid obesity.

Alcohol is literally a poison. The government made that illegal and people weren’t very happy

The thought of making sugar drinks illegal is absurd

That's crazy, I would feel like total shite after drinking something like that from all of the sugar.

Just like with alcohol, hair of the dog to function after overconsumption.

Just makes the whole thing even worse.

No it wasn't. People have enjoyed their coffee straight black since the inception of the drink.

Yeah, OK hyperbole queen.

Sad

What was sad about a person enjoying a coffee the way they like it?

Why does someone need to conform to your ways of enjoying life? They enjoy their coffee with cream and sugar. What's Sad is you making some kind of assumption about someone based on sugar and creamer in their coffee. Get a life.

Drank it black one day back in 8th grade and never looked back. Personally, it tastes way better than adding all that shite

How else are we going to keep up the title of “fattest country in the world?”

We are actually 10th in the world, but we are by far the highest ranked developed country. It's mostly Samoan type countries ahead of us. Here is the top 10:
