Due to be runners-up again if anything.

Same. Last night was awful. Hopefully Spain beat the shite out of Belgium though.. at least that'd make me feel a little better. I'm hoping 3-0 at least.
We bowed out at the same stage as Brazil and by a more embarrassing margin. I don't give a crap about group stage stats.

This is a loser's mentality.
So, you want an entire team of Dan Burns? Yeah, that'd play out nicely.

FIFY
One of the first random articles I came across this AM (without looking) was headlined something like "US storybook World Cup run comes to an end."

Storybook run? :rotflmao:  :rotflmao:

Storybook would not have even started until after having won last night's game.
That’s what we produce? We crash out to Belgium, again, by a worse score line than 2014. That shite wasn’t even close.

Embarrassing.

Starting to wonder how much that Balogun shite was a distraction; how many days did we prepare as if we weren't going to have Balogun?
I said it before the Belgium Senegal match that either team would show out against the US after being arse in group stage.
The European Caliphate is angry.
And one of the other threads opening posts made a comment about FIFA needing to stay out of politics. Well yes, I think we all agree. Maybe don't give the USA match a VAR referee from fricking Venezuela.
Would also like to know why this wasn't look at at all. Oh wait, I know why.

See above gif.

I don't think so.

Because I don't like watching the leading organisation of the sport I love continue to frick up everything

That was too late at VAR.

I'm sure FIFA would love a Ronaldo/Messi final. Let's see how the calls in the Portugal/Spain game shake out to continue confirming this is the fix.
