Looks like it won’t even get below freezing in BR until the early Monday morning hours

At this point I wouldn’t count on them being right on how cold it’s going to get and when. It dropped incredibly fast once it got to us and barely stalled for a couple hours midday before continuing to drop.

Any threat of road closures or power loss from BR to Lake Charles?
I’m not seeing any but figured I’d ask the experts

Yeah. Me too. Its just me and the cats. I don't know what I did before I had a family.

Oh well. Guess I'll go fire up Wolf of Wall Street for the 100th time.

Its also taking all of my will power to not eat all of my snacks/rations immediately

Very light freezing rain with some sleet mixed in here in north AL. Not hearing much traffic at all.

I'm sick for this one, first time I've been sick in nearly 10 years. Coughing junk and fever, woke up last night soaked in sweat, and the fever is down now.

Ah well. It was an okay run. Retire my screen name, even if it doesn't make it into the rafters.

Ha! The wind blew it over and last night I decided I’d leave it so that it could be the “constant” in the progression of the snow pics.

Also I’m delirious as the 2 year old was awake all night so apologies if my grammar gets dumb

I think we dodged a bullet in Shreveport. More sleet than freezing rain here.

Looks like Nachitoches is getting the heavy freezing rain.

I’m just about a mile north of Bienville/Natchitoches Parish line with about an inch of sleet so far, mixed with some freezing rain, but at this moment more sleet falling than rain. Hope it stays that way or transitions to just sleet and/or snow.

It's way far out but Spann posted both last night, one was a nothing and the other looked like it at least wouldn't have the freezing rain component (in the north MS/AL area anyways) that this one has
