DOTD has some in North LA, to try and keep main bridges open.
Currently about 15 degrees and 1/4-inch of sleet, possibly some icing on tops of tall pine trees, in southern Bienville Parish. Haven’t ventured far enough yet to check road conditions, as I cannot see road from my house. ...

I’m about 20 miles SSW of the slopes of Driskill Mountain, in a creek bottom in the foothills (AKA the sandhills) of that majestic peak, about 180 feet above sea level.
