Tornadic storms are about 50 miles from the SW Chicago suburbs. Other storms are closer passing through Rockford now.

An analysis of production by transfers vs high school commits would be a better measure than strictly roster percentages. Percent of Runs scored and RBI and percent of runs allowed and Innings pitched by transfers.

LSU has had 83 former players (including pitchers) with at least 1 plate appearance in MLB.
LSU has had 56 former players pitch in an MLB game.

This is over 115 seasons of MLB.

Since 1987 (40 years) the numbers of non-pitchers with a plate appearance is 34, and the number of pitchers is 46.

So even with all the great former LSU college players, the averages in the Bertman era through today are exactly 0.85 MLB hitter and 1.15 pitchers per year for a total of 2 MLB players per year.
