That’s good to hear it’s not sticking yet. I’m headed north out of Austin now. It’s windy but fine.

As I came here to whine about the dry air bubble that was preventing snow earlier I look out again and it's coming down nice.

Someone mentioned biscuits, dammit that's a good idea. Feels like one of those days to ignore calories.

I just saw your post from last night, was going to tell you a shift would bring you more snow than freezing rain. Hoping you miss a lot of the rain.

There is definitely more of a mix with freezing rain now. Earlier I went out and stayed dry the whole time.

I went out just now and got wet.

No good.

Read some reports we had a round of sleet last night as well, crazy to think it was in at or near single digits when it happened.

Went out for a bit this morning to grab breakfast before snow hits here later this afternoon. Predicted snow totals for us (Louisville) have dropped from over a foot to 6 to 12 inches.

The cold here is brutal right now. 11 feels like -4.

Here for some info.

Daughter is riding home from March for Life in DC to Slidell.
They are currently just north of Knoxville.

Call my nerves that they won’t run into icy road conditions through Chattanooga and Birmingham.

I keep watching DFW on flightradar and surprisingly see a good amount of planes landing, but nothing has taken off yet.

Will Rogers (OKC) - all inbound and outbound flights canceled.

I’m surprised. This front is impressive. One of those where you can almost feel it getting colder as you’re in it.

Yikes. DFW finally got their first departure out for the day just now. Inbounds still landing so far
