Which artist do you regret the most not seeing live?

For me, it’s Van Halen, there are others for sure, but VH is #1. And, it doesn’t matter if it was DLR or Sammy.

That I could have seen?
Was going to see Van Morrison at Jazzfest around 20 years ago. But it was raining cats and dogs and a guy I knew who'd seen him before insisted he wasn't worth the money or effort.
I let him talk me out of it, though if it hadn't been raining I would have gone anyway

Over indulged and passed out before Led Zeppelin concert in 1975. Never was in a position to get a mulligan.
Yeah, I think about that one from time to time

I missed road tripping to go see Uncle Tupelo a couple of times, because I was always kinda broke back then... Thought I'd have plenty of time as they were a band really hitting their stride... little did I know it was basically over...
Have never held out a hope for any kind of reunion either... never gonna happen..

and I only saw the dead once in 1988, could have travelled a bunch of times more but I was broke. I should have done it anyway. My biggest regret is not going out on tour

Had tickets to see Prince and got sick the day of the concert. Still P.O.'d about that.

John Prine. He played close several times. Always said I was going to go but something always came up.

There are so many bands I wish I could have seen.
The band I failed to see I wish I had seen is The Who.

I would've had to have been unconscious to miss a Prince show. I've been to my fair share of concerts, and NOBODY kills it live like Prince did.
I saw him in 1988 in Hampton, VA, and in a very small setting in 2001 at the Norva in Norfolk, VA.
Both shows were great, the arena show was more spectacular, but I liked 2001 better. He was between 5-25 feet away from us the whole night in Norfolk.

Allman Brothers, although I would've seen a later version of them. Still wish I would've done it.
They stopped touring in 2014.

That I could have seen....
Mumford and Sons in a small venue around the time of their first album. Have no desire to see them anymore since they've pretty much sold out and changed their style, but they put on an incredible show early on.
