Halloween is definitely the more "scary" movie out of the two. But Jaws legit made me afraid of open water in the ocean, and that matters IMO.
So even though Jaws isn't scarier or better at "horror" than Halloween, it gets my vote for what it represents (for me at least).
If that makes sense.
