When is a teen eligible for a Roth IRA?

Mine does yards and makes good money. He just has to file a tax return for this year?

What institutions are best for this?

There is no age requirement you just need earned income that equals what you contribute. I would assume that if he files a tax return for his lawn business that would count as earned income and he could contribute that amount up to the max of $7,500.

As for where to go I have mine and my wife's Roth IRA with Vanguard in VTSAX. I also have UTMA accounts for my kids with Vanguard in the same fund. They have great funds and are very low cost. I've also heard great things about Fidelity.

Are you strictly going to fly AA and you want to use the Globe card for everything to get AA points and use the benefits when you fly? If so then yeah it's probably a decent card to get. If you might think about other airlines and then hotels then I would look at a transferrable points card. My favorite starting card is the Chase Sapphire Preferred. You could also look at Citi cards. Their points can be transferred to AA as well as other options.

My next iron is PW at 42. I hit that around 145-150. Typically my irons around are around a 15 yard gap.

The first mistake you're making, IMO, is trying to do full swings with a 60. Even a 56 can get dicey.

I play 48, 54, 58, with a lightly heavier shaft in the 58.

My approach is anything greater than a 3/4 58* shot, and I go to the 54.

The other thing to look at is the sole on those two wedges. If one is a different grind than the other, that may be contributing to your struggles. Just something to consider.

Never thought about this. Full swing with the 56 and 60 are really the only two I consistently hit poorly. When I need less distance I prefer choking down on a club and taking an easier full swing that doing a 1/2 or 3/4 swing. With my approach wedge and above it normally works out fine. Never really occurred to me to do that instead of full swing shots with the 56 and 60.

Without the 56 and 60 my highest lofted club is my approach wedge at 47. Full swing with that goes 130-135. I'm looking to add two wedges below that to replace the 56 and 60.

Kirkland Signature wedge set is the best value in golf for 95% of golfers. They are solid wedges. I am a 7 hcp and they are just as good as big name wedges. You get a 52,56,60 for the price of 1 titleist, callaway, taylormade wedge.

I came across these yesterday and looked at reviews. Most people seem to love them. Only issue is they are sold out for right handed. They just released the gen 3's so I assume at some point they would get them back in stock.

Check out Edison. Fantastic return policy.
I could not hit a 60 until I got my Edison wedge.
The multi-tiered sole makes it so easy to get through grass and sand ... especial hard-pan - tight lies.
I have 59, 55, and 51.
Love them.

Nice I'll look into them as well.

Thanks for all the recommendations. I'll look into the Cleveland wedges. I played Cleveland for my 56 before the Vokey and from what I remember I hit it pretty well. Also need to search around for a possible demo or fitting day.

Looking for some new wedges

My 56 and 60 are by far the worse clubs in my bag. For the life of me I can't hit a decent full swing shot with either club. They are old Vokey's. I bought them used and I've probably had them for at least 15 years. The club face and grooves are pretty worn out also the shafts are original to the club. Two years ago I got fitted and bought Callaway Paradym irons. I hit them really well. The shafts are True Temper x100 x-stiff.

When the course is wet I tend to hit them really fat but my normal miss is blading the shite out of the ball and sending it well over the green. My approach wedge is 47 degrees. I hit it around 130 yards. Then there's a large gap to my 56 which I hit 100 yards. I'm thinking of getting a 52 and a 56 and just dropping the 60. Is it crazy to spend the money for a fitting for just wedges? For my wedges I've never paid attention to loft angle, bounce, grind, etc but I want to improve my game from 120 or so and in. Maybe a fitting would help.

re: Crime Scene Cleaner

I'll play it at some point. Years ago I played a similar game called Serial Cleaner. It was a 2D top down game where you cleaned up crime scenes while avoiding cops. It was a lot of fun.
My gains (mostly unrealized) so far in 2026 are a bit more than my gross salary through July. Still have a couple decades of work ahead of me but hopefully there will be a comfortable retirement in my future.

Well done sir

Never played any of the following Red Dead, Zelda, Half-life, Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed, or Uncharted.
Mt grandparents lived there for a long time before my grandfather passed away. The biggest thing I took from them living there was listening to how much he hated the annoying harpies from the HOA. My grandmother moved years ago so no clue if that has changed. Other than that it is a nice looking neighborhood,

I use an Ask Echo T-LOCK and I love it. A slot for each club and the irons aren't banging against each other.
I have my roth and rollover traditional IRA in VTSAX. It seems like over time VIGAX outperforms VTSAX. Would it be a good idea to change to VIGAX? I'm 43 so I'll likely have another 20 years of work and contributions to the roth.

I was going to say this. It's a bit disrespectful to compare her intelligence to the other two.

To be on topic my first season as a season ticket holder was Jay's first season. I have two programs from his first game that I want to get signed.
Are away tickets determined by lifetime ranking and LSU season tickets are determined by philanthropic ranking?

Why are there two rankings anyway and why are they so different? Lifetime has 4k more in the rankings than philanthropic.

Isn't the pic below miscalculating the points that would be added? Doesn't it need to be a donation of at least $100k?
